El Hombre Grande is the most exposed runner in the field and now steps up in trip to try break his maiden at the eighth attempt. Preference is for BIG BUDGET, who shaped with promise over an inadequate 6f on debut latest and should be all the wiser for the experience gained that day. Allthewayyeah completes the shortlist.
The drop in grade could spark improvement from Whenthetimeisright but a safer alternative appears to be FLY ANGEL FLY, who won a shade cosily over 1m here on his penultimate start. Abby Rules makes most appeal of the remainder.
LAWLESS MISS makes most appeal of those with previous racecourse experience based on her last-time-out Belmont second, an effort which marked significant improvement upon a moderate debut effort at Monmouth previously. Coast Of Sangria and J K L's Legacy appeal most of the newcomers.
Gilded Cassette wasn't knocked about when upped to a route here last time and has claims if building upon that effort. However, the vote goes to PLEASE BE QUIET, who was outpaced over 7f and shaped as if a return to this longer trip would be ideal. J J's Fallen Star appeals most of the remainder.
MISS AUDREYANNA returned to form when second over 6f here last time, appearing to benefit from the drop in grade, and is taken to go one better now granted this extra yardage. Aristra and Sally's Contender can scrap it out for the silver medal.
This Is My Day is holding his form well and was far from disgraced when third over C&D latest but marginal preference is for RISQUE GETAWAY, who returned a wide-margin winner over 6f here last time and hinted he'd be worth a try over this longer trip. Lemon Ghost also merits inclusion on the shortlist.
It could pay to side with FERBER in what looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve. He has been knocking on the door recently and shaped as though stepping back up in trip would help when runner-up over 1m at Delaware last time. Luvyoutothemoon and One Shot are others worthy of consideration.
GENTLE EDWIN won with plenty in hand over 1m here latest and, already proven at this longer trip, he will be fancied to go in again. Other last time out winner, Royal Clash, looks an obvious danger, while Robert Reid's Middle Bank is certainly no forlorn hope.
A chance is taken on MAJOR HIGHWAY first time out. He has shaped encouragingly in recent workouts and is sure to be fairly forward for this first taste of competitive action. The Mighty Sparrow has shown enough in previous starts to suggest that he can go close, while Fivefourthreetwone isn't out of it either.
