It's worth siding here with TIGER TOUGH, well beaten on his first two starts but a good third at Monmouth latest. Dropped in class tonight and with more to come, he looks capable of breaking his duck now. The consistent Ra has form in better races and looks the danger while Muffins Magic and Not For Sale can fight it out for the minor honours.
After landing a $12.5k maiden claimer here in May, FREEZERCROWD has run with credit three times in much better company. Dropped in class tonight, she can return to winning ways. Quick N' True scored over C&D on her debut and looks the one for the exacta here but Mi Preciosa might not be too far away.
Shock Appeal has been going well in her work and is expected to make a bold showing on her debut, while Terlingua's Cause has been running in much better company and must be given a chance in this grade. Preference is for NO IT ISN'T, who has been knocking on the door in slightly better races and can be let in tonight, dropped to this grade.
This should go the way of CHICKATARI, who, after three near-misses in better races, landed a $10k claimer over 6f at Belmont last time out. He should be capable of following up, dropped in grade. Jackie G is a consistent performer at this level and looks the one for the exacta but Speedboat Sally could go close.
EL HOMBRE GRANDE found his stamina stretched over 1m latest but gets the verdict now dropped in trip and eased in grade. Palmetto Jim is feared most with Country Risk another to consider now tackling this trip for the first time.
Vitedecreto continues to perform to a high level of consistency but has been struggling to get his head in front so preference is for SO WE'RE FRIENDS, a C&D scorer in August. Silver Prado has been knocking on the door lately and is another to consider.
SECRET LONGING was denied a hat-trick here last time but lost little in defeat in second and rates the one they all have to beat. Smart Tori advertised her well-being when second here in September and is feared most. Coco's Sweetie completes the shortlist.
Temecula Creek has place prospects if reproducing the form of his last-time-out Aqueduct third but preference is for ANTENNA, who showed plenty of dash when scoring over 6f here last month and is worth a try over this shorter trip. E Street Shuffle is also considered.
