DIEGO DU CHARMIL is fancied to get the better of stablemate Bagad Bihoue on his chase debut. The Scottish County Hurdle winner, who also landed the Fred Winter at the 2016 Cheltenham Festival, has long shaped like a potential chaser and this decent ground should play into the hands of the five-year-old, who is also the choice of Sam Twiston-Davies.
DIEGO DU CHARMIL was a better hurdler than his stablemate Bagad Bihoue, and while the latter has taken very well to fences, Diego du Charmil is in receipt of 10 lb ahead of his chase debut and is the choice of Sam Twiston-Davies.

Braqueur D'or has progressed well over the summer and remains in good form, but Whiskey Baron is yet to start firing for Adrian Wintle and needs to show more. Dharoos was rated 81 on the Flat and had a nice upbringing with John Gosden, but COOLE CODY can give weight and a beating to this field. The six-year-old should relish the step up in trip and he can land this prize before going chasing.
BRAQUEUR D'OR has quickly developed into a useful chaser for Paul Nicholls, and should prove hard to beat reverting to hurdles. Coole Cody comes into this in good order but may find things a bit too much under a double penalty, while Dharoos showed ability on that Flat and is worth a precautionary market check on hurdles debut.

CHANTECLER ran well to finish second at Worcester and a breakthrough victory over hurdles looks to be close for Neil Mulholland's charge. The six-year-old continues to go well in this sphere and can account for Welsh Bard, who won well at Sedgefield last time out after attracting market support, and Gamain, who should have come on plenty for his reappearance at this venue three weeks ago.
This is trappy, and while WELSH BARD isn't one for maximum faith, he did win easily back over hurdles a fortnight ago and a 5 lb rise is more than fair. Chantecler seems to be gradually getting the hang of jumping and is capable of winning in this sphere, but, even though this may not be a thorough test at the trip, he does have to prove his stamina.

DARLING MALTAIX showed signs of inexperience on his debut in France but also displayed plenty of ability, winning comfortably by three lengths. The son of Voix Du Nord has moved to Paul Nicholls and Bryony Frost's 5lb claim will be used to his advantage. Point Of Principle was beaten less than six lengths in the Aintree bumper and will give the selection something to think about, while Court Out is from the family of 3m chaser That's Rhythm and has Richard Johnson in the saddle.
POINT OF PRINCIPLE can boast some useful form last term, finishing an excellent seventh in a Grade 2 contest at Aintree in April, and if he returns at that level, he should take some stopping. It's not easy to assess what Darling Maltaix achieved when winning in France but he's joined a top yard, while Court Out and Highway One O One are likely newcomers on paper.
