MARY TUDOR displayed a high level of ability as a juvenile without winning but she got off the mark in a Listed race on her seasonal return in April. She disappointed a bit on her next start but the one-mile trip may have caught her out and an improved effort can be expected now. Espere arrives here having won both of her starts to date and her performance at Gowran Park last time out suggested that she could make her mark at this level. Romiyna is from an outstanding family and she could hardly have been more impressive when winning easily on her debut last month.
