One place ahead of him on his last completed start over timber was STONEMASTER, however, and Dessie Hughes' charge can confirm the form, having fared reasonably well in a Grade Two contest at Thurles last time. Silver Friend is a threat to all based on his easy Fairyhouse win, while Whodoyouthink was not disgraced when fourth behind Dunguib last time.

ZAARITO has fallen on his last two starts but, if putting in a clear round, will prove extremely difficult to beat here. Colm Murphy's charge was bang in contention in Grade One company last time when falling at the last and though he's come to grief three times in five chase starts, a chance is taken that he'll get round. Whatuthink was another to fall when in contention last time and could go close, while Beckett Rock and Pesoto are both on retrieval missions having found Graded company too hot last time.
Most of these are on retrieval missions of one sort or another, but the 2 to concentrate on are Zaarito and Pesoto, the former getting the vote in spite of his jumping frailties, partly because this trip will suit him better than Pesoto. Whatuthink is taken to complete the 3.

Four Chimneys' winning streak came to an end at Leopardstown last time but he was hardly disgraced in fifth and should confirm form with the sixth that day, Fistoulig. Dancing Tornado has been acquitting himself well over fences and could be even better back over timber, but preference is for KUSADASI. Dusty Sheehy's five-year-old has been running well in Novice Hurdles and may have been given a chance by the handicapper here. Molly's Boy runs off a light weight and may be in with a chance having scored at Fairyhouse last time.
A competitive handicap in which those towards the bottom of the weights generally make most appeal, and Fistoulig is taken to build on a couple of encouraging runs now he steps up in trip. Molly's Boy looks likely to go well and may chase him home, while Cool Quest should also be difficult to keep out of the frame assuming she can avoid a repeat of her poor run here in December.

Ballytrim has stamina in abundance so could go close, but Ruby Walsh prefers Equus Maximus, who has a bit to prove having been pulled up in the Thyestes Chase at Gowran last time. Rare Bob landed a Grade One contest over three miles last spring and can be forgiven a disappointing effort over an inadequate trip on his return. He could well here but CASEY SUPREME is preferred. Leonard Whitmore's eight-year-old was not disgraced in third at Punchestown last time and gets another chance off the same mark.
Equus Maximus looks the pick of the Willie Mullins pair judged on jockey bookings and is worth a chance to build on his form of last spring away from heavy ground. This trip could really suit Whosaidso, who didn't appear to stay slightly further last time, having looked outpaced over the minimum trip prior to that. Artiste Bay is another who prefer this shorter trip, but preference is for TOOMAN LANE. Christy Roche's charge stormed home by five lengths at Clonmel and although he's up 8lb for that success, he could take all the beating here. Jack The Bus may fare better now in handicaps, but he was beaten a long way last time.

OSCARS WELL looks to hold all the aces here. Jessica Harrington's five-year-old was unfortunate to bump into a Willie Mullins-trained hotpot on his debut at Fairyhouse and a reproduction of that five-length defeat could suffice. Andlau has been improving steadily in this sphere and could figure, while the most interesting newcomers could be Macareo and Owey Island.
Oscars Well sets a good standard in this bumper, having found only Day of A Lifetime too good on debut, but he may well have to play second fiddle to one from Willie Mullins' yard again, in the shape of the well-bred A Fine Young Man. Macareo and Seafield are a couple of other interesting newcomers.
