Snookered hasn't stopped improving this season and the Brian Ellison-trained gelding is of obvious interest as he bids for a five-timer after another comfortable triumph at Wetherby last month, but a 9lb rise for that success leaves him 33lb higher than when his winning streak began and the handicapper may be getting to grips with him now. ASHINGTON, on the other hand, may have been underestimated by an opening mark of 121 following a pair of novice hurdle romps, including over this C&D latest, and John Quinn's five-year-old could have plenty more to come after only three starts over timber.
