Tea Time On Mars struck over hurdles off 7lb lower in February but needs to step up on his two recent chase performances if he's to open his account over the larger obstacles. Of more interest is TRIPLE CHIEF, who has winning C&D form in the book and has dropped 7lb lower than his last winning rating. Broughtons Rhythm usually gives his running and should also be thereabouts at the business end.
Not a strong race and ACARO could be worth chancing as he's shown enough over fences this term to think he can pick up a race like this if leaving behind a poor run at Wincanton. Broughtons Rhythm is feared most.

Mr Clarkson has been in good order over hurdles this year and is worth monitoring closely in the betting now switching over the larger obstacles. With some solid chase form already in the book, however, DARLING MALTAIX shades the verdict. Paul Nicholls' seven-year-old disappointed over 3m at Ascot last time but shaped encouragingly over 2m3f at the same venue prior to that so this drop back in trip could suit. Harry Fry's As I See It also merits a market check on his fencing bow.

KING ROLAND won two bumpers impressively last season and he only found one too good on his hurdles debut at Newbury in November. A reproduction of any of those performances should be good enough to win this contest. Thunderstruck was a bit disappointing last time out but it is far too soon to be writing him off, while Buckhorn George and Springfield Fox complete the shortlist.
BUCKHORN GEORGE confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut when second behind a very exciting prospect in Sporting John early last month. He's open to further improvement, especially now tackling this longer trip. King Roland is the obvious danger for Harry Fry having shaped well on his hurdling debut, while Thunderstruck and Escrime d'Art complete the shortlist.

TRUCKERS PASS made an encouraging debut under Rules when finishing second at Warwick in October and that form was boosted when the winner placed in a Listed bumper last month. If he improves for that experience, the six-year-old will be hard to beat. Mille Sussurri is another with valid form claims, while Atholl Street and Hooligan are the pick of the newcomers.
TRUCKERS PASS pushed an easy next-time-out winner close on Rules debut at Warwick in October and a repeat of that level may well be enough. Bobhopeornohope fetched £105,000 on the back of his point win and is an interesting Rules debutant, along with Atholl Street.
