TOP VILLE BEN impressed when winning from the front over 2m at Towcester in February and is likely to be a danger to all in this small field. Just Minded lost little in defeat when fourth over the extended 2m4f at Ayr last time and is the one expected to put up most resistance. Derrynane hasn't taken to hurdles as well as hoped but makes most appeal of the remainder in a weak heat all the same.
TOP VILLE BEN's unbeaten record remains intact by virtue of Count Meribel's last-flight blunder at Towcester, but Nicky Henderson's charge probably wasn't ideally suited by the combination of the testing track/ground that day and is likely to be seen in an altogether better light here. Just Minded is the only conceivable threat, given that Derrynane was well held at Newcastle last time.

GET ON THE YAGER made all to score by a length over this trip at Kempton last time and should be dangerous on the front end again in this small field, despite shouldering a penalty. Comely may have better to offer in this sphere now he's got the benefit of his hurdles debut third at Fakenham under his belt, while Ballynorth Benny, a winning pointer, is another probably better than what he's shown under Rules so far.

BAJARDO comes with risk attached as he's been off the racecourse since finishing second over track and trip in November but if he runs to a similar level of form on his return then he has strong claims off an unchanged rating. Chestnut Ben is only 3lb higher than when scoring over the extended 2m at Sedgefield in February and can battle it out with Lake Chapala for the silver medal.
BAJARDO is clearly fragile having been absent again since his good second over C&D in November but has strong claims if building on that now fitted with a tongue tie. Lake Chapala is the danger.

Miss Mash remains lightly raced but she has been disappointing of late and can be taken on, with narrow preference for EREYNA to score. The selection was forced to race off a 7lb higher mark when third at Southwell in August and she is likely to have been freshened up by that 201-day break. Zara Hope and recent Catterick scorer Milly Baloo look best of the remainder, with Oscar's Prospect also fancied to be involved at the finish.
Both ZARA HOPE and Flemerina were below form when last seen but are a fair bit less exposed than the bulk of their rivals here and could well resume progress after a short break, so they're taken against the field with the former preferred given he was on a steep upward curve prior to a blip in November. Miss Mash also warrants respect with few miles on the clock.

MERIBEL MILLIE has been handed a 7lb penalty for her Sedgefield win a week ago on handicap debut but she looked to be well ahead of her opening mark there and could add another success to her CV. That was her first win since scoring in a bumper in 2015 and soft ground would play to her strengths once more. Charlie Longsdon is 30-133 with his runners here in the last five years so Tinted Rose has to be considered, while Alizee Javilex also enters calculations.
Following her impressive display at Sedgefield last weekend, it's hard to look beyond MERIBEL MILLIE. Indeed, she is a sizeable step ahead of the handicapper with just a 7 lb penalty to carry and, moreover, there should be plenty more to come from this 6-y-o. Bowie is marginally preferred to Master Vintage for forecast purposes.
