Blue Eyed Eloise broke her duck over timber at Plumpton last time but only just go home and has plenty to do off top weight. Mountskip was a good second over C&D last month but is rated 7lb higher now while Decision has put in two good efforts lately but may need some help from the handicapper. It might pay to side with the in-form RUBY ISABEL, who has landed a double over fences recently. She isn't too badly weighted on her best efforts over timber and could take all the beating.
Ruby Isabel and Avanos look the ones most likely to take advantage of Mountskip's absence, with the former preferred. Everaard ran poorly on the Flat in recent days but is nevertheless weighted to play a major role here.

This could go the way of MOONSTREAKER, who has two wins from seven starts under his belt. He was out of his depth in a Grade 2 race at Aintree but bounced back with a runaway success in this grade over 2m at Fakenham. Calon Crwbin scored nicely at Fontwell two starts ago but was a well-held second at Newton Abbot when upped to this grade. Capable Guest tackles hurdles for the first time but is a good sort on the Flat and it would be no surprise to see him run well.
Calon Crwbin has done well over hurdles since more positive tactics were employed and can prove too strong for dual winner Moonstreaker. Moscow Oznick was more straightforward than Capable Guest on the Flat and could fare best of the new recruits.

In an open affair, it might pay to side with Worcester 2m 4f winner BENMADIGAN, despite his 6lb rise in the weights for last month's success. He was eased when he had the race won that day and might still be ahead of the handicapper. Choctaw Nation, on the other hand, is up 6lb for his game head success over 2m 3f here and will need to improve, while Darksideofthemoon scored nicely over 2m 4f here but is up 14lb now and is running for the first time in 10 months.
Darksideofthemoon's lengthy absence is a concern, but he would be tough to beat if returning in the same form he left off in here last August. Choctaw Nation and Bold Policy are both proven to be in good heart at the minute and are credible alternatives from the foot of the weights.

BLOSSOM KING appears to have taken well to fences (reaching the frame in each of his three starts) and could tale all the beating today. He arguably produced his best effort yet when runner-up over 2m at Worcester last month and is entitled to strip fitter for that first run since December. Watch Out has displayed a fair level of ability in both starts so far and looks the most likely danger, while Thelobstercatcher appeared to be well fancied when falling on his chase debut at Worcester 18 days ago and cannot be written off just yet.
Blossom King deserves to get his head in front over fences after 3 solid efforts and this looks a good opportunity to do so. Watch Out has made a better fist of chasing of late than some of these and may be the one to follow him home.

Chorizo came desperately close to completing the double over C&D nine days ago and seems sure to give another good account here, but slight preference is for VIPER who is wearing blinkers for the first time. He didn't appear to get home when runner-up over an extended 3m1f at Hereford a couple of weeks ago and the drop in trip along with application of blinkers may be just what's needed to see him break his duck over fences. No Panic arrives fresh from a three month break and warrants respect.
A case can be made for On You Go and Prophete de Guye but both come with risks, and a safer option looks to be last year's winner Chorizo, who is in the form of his life.

NESNAAS is taken to follow up last year's success in this race. Although showing little promise recently, it's interesting that blinkers have been fitted for the first time and he's 3lb lower than his mark 12 months ago. The Randy Bishop is one from one at this venue and could get involved at the business end of the race, while Ormus wouldn't be without a chance if recapturing the sort of form which saw him score gamely at Hexham on his penultimate outing.
Wee Forbees' latest Bangor second signalled a return to form and that effort looks a lot better now than it did at the time. He's the safest option with doubts surrounding the majority of the opposition. Turbo Shandy and Silver Dollars could fare best of the rest.

It's no easy task shouldering a double penalty in this sphere but WITH GRACE looks above average and should be able to manage it. She has improved in each of her three visits to the racecourse so far and gave the impression that there was plenty more to come when scoring by 6-lengths at Southwell last time. Bury The Hatchet represents a stable that do particularly well in this type of event and he is sure to have plenty of supporters on debut, while Harsh But Fair showed plenty of encouraging signs first time up at Sedgefield and is certainly no forlorn hope.
Bury The Hatchet is comfortably the most interesting of the newcomers, but With Grace has already tasted success twice in bumpers and looks capable of giving weight all round here. Harsh But Fair's debut effort suggests he could also play a part.
