Diamond Geezah appeared to find Listed company too hot to handle at Royal Ascot but his previous efforts give him a chance if seeing out the trip, while Next Edition is proven over this distance after a close second at Redcar on his debut and he has claims if building on that effort. Preference, however, is for COTTON SPIRIT. Richard Fahey's charge ran on well for second at Carlisle last time and looks likely to be happier over this extra furlong.
Cotton Spirit is going to relish this extra furlong, and although this isn't a penalty kick, he is taken to get the better of Next Edition and Little Miss Take.

There is little to choose between Jim Goldie's duo of Stellite and Mr Lu on recent form, but both may need some respite from the handicapper so SPAVENTO gets the nod. Eric Alston's filly couldn't take advantage of a favourable draw over a mile at Chester last time but showed on her previous start that this trip was right up her street. Prime Circle won well on softish ground at Lingfield last time and has claims again if the rain arrives.
Stellite is more reliable than most of these, he goes well at this track and looks to have plenty in his favour again. Barnstorm and Prime Circle may give him most to think about.

MAYBE I WONT stayed on well for second at Warwick last time and Lucinda Featherstone may have found the perfect trip for him here. The five-year-old didn't show much over 1m 2f at Newmarket two starts ago but this intermediate distance should suit. Saving Grace has gone close on her last two starts and is worth considering, while Grand Diamond is far from prolific but can be expected to give his running despite the burden of top weight.
Maybe I Wont returned to form over 1m last time and this step back up in distance could see him back to winning ways. Grand Diamond and Saving Grace have both been pretty reliable this year and are unlikely to be too far away.

Jeremy Noseda sends RULE MAKER a long way for his handicap debut and that decision could pay dividends. The Lemon Drop Kid colt seemed to relish the drop to this trip when winning at Windsor and a mark of 84 may allow him to repeat Noseda's win in the race last year. Hail Bold Chief ran well for second at Hamilton but this looks a hotter race, while Daring Dream seems to save his best for this track and was not disgraced off his current mark last time.
Jeremy Noseda took this race last year and a repeat looks likely via the unexposed Rule Maker, who won his maiden at Windsor in decisive fashion. Daring Dream and Hail Bold Chief are predicted to give him most trouble.

Forrest Flyer battled bravely to score over course and distance last month and could be up to defying a 4lb higher mark, but HUNTERS BELT looked to be hitting top gear when second at York last time and could be the one to side with here. The bumper winner stuck to his guns well on the Knavesmire and a 1lb rise looks fair. Blazing Desert has form over jumps and was not disgraced in three maidens, while Shy Glance could improve for this longer trip.

The drop back to 6f worked the oracle for DIES SOLIS at Doncaster last time and a 2lb rise in the handicap could prove lenient. Noel Wilson's charge won despite running too free and if he settles better here, he could be hard to peg back. Classlin has bits and pieces of form to give her a chance but may be better over the minimum trip, while North Shadow could come on for his reappearance outing but may prefer some cut in the ground.
Dies Solis' Doncaster win 9 days ago stands out in the form figures here, and this lightly-raced colt may have a little more to offer. Drumpellier is better than recent results suggest and makes more appeal than most for place purposes.
