Dropped to a seller, visored first time and with a 10lb claimer on his back, BARNEYS REFLECTION took full advantage to romp home by 18 lengths at Fakenham and give his young jockey his first success. The same combination should be able to follow up today despite a 7lb penalty. Top Style is a stone higher than his winning weight and is likely to struggle while Fille Detente is dropped in the weights but needs to improve. Soviet Joy is an improving sort and can't be ruled out while Siegfrieds Night is not the most consistent but holds every chance on his best form. Iron Man has won two such contests, scoring cosily last time out at Sandown, and will be well fancied to go in again but he might find one too good in the lightly-raced ADMIRAL, who led to two out in the Triumph Hurdle before fading. Before that he won with ease at Musselburgh and looks to be still on the upgrade. He looks the one to be on here.

Bid For Fame and Dad's Elect have winning form over timber and can be given chances on their chasing debuts but Lubinas needs to rediscover his old form to take a hand here. Hot Produxion did little wrong on his chasing bow and holds sound claims here but it's worth giving KERCABELLEC another chance. Reseda has improved in three runs over timber and isn't out of it here. Trisons Star, winner of a novice event at Ayr, is another to consider while Simlet can be given a chance despite another 5lb for his recent win. Hattington scored with ease over 2m at Towcester last time and has every chance here despite a 7lb penalty but it's worth taking a chance on MEL IN BLUE. Why The Long Face has won a novice chase this season but is struggling in the handicap while the consistent Angel Delight might have too much weight here. Supreme Silence looked out of his depth in the Foxhunters at Cheltenham but can be given a chance in this company. Mister Friday lost his way over fences but has won twice between the flags recently and should be in good heart. Next To Nothing has won three times from five chase starts but is inconsistent and it's worth taking a chance on SIR ALF, who won on his chasing debut despite a blunder at the 11th fence. He might have scope to improve and another win could be on the cards here.

Attitude is a full sister to that splendid hurdler Rooster Booster and could go well on her debut. Panama Venture ran poorly last time but holds claims on a decent second on her debut, while Fortuna Favente, out of her depth in Listed company at Sandown last time, has sound claims on her debut effort. AMALFI STORM was only fourth to Bougoure on her debut over 2m at Catterick but was running on strongly at the finish. If she's come on for that race, she could be good enough to score here.
