Worcester second Lauberhorn can also make the frame.

CHURCH FIELD displayed considerable improvement to prevail at Newton Abbot on his handicap bow last week and it was interesting that he was sent off 3-1 favourite for that assignment given the fact he'd shown very little in four starts in maiden/novice company previously. The returning Tony McCoy takes over in the plate and he's expected to go in again under a 7lb penalty, while Kayalar and the consistent Fairy Alisha look set to fight it out for minor honours.

THE COCKNEY MACKEM finally broke his hurdles duck in a Perth maiden last month and the 127-rated Milan gelding should have enough class to concede weight all round in this novice event. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge finished a very creditable runner-up behind Salut Flo in the 2012 running of the Byrne Group Plate at the Cheltenham Festival and, while the likes of Chepstow winner Top Totti and Market Rasen bumper winner Wake Your Dreams are open to stacks of improvement at this stage, he's the one they all have to beat.
