Oscarsfriend scored between the flags last week and he is an interesting contender here. Alskamatic has also been in good heart in point-to-points and he commands respect along with Rather Curious. However, the verdict goes to ADEPT APPROACH. Philip Hall's representative is a reliable sort and with trip and ground no problem, he should be able to make his presence felt here.

Adept Approach had Owenacurra and Man from Moscow behind when winning his latest point start, and this stamina test looks right up his street. BAY TO GO was a shade disappointing in a Cheltenham hunters' chase earlier this month but he is capable of better than he showed on that occasion and could take plenty of beating here if putting his best foot forward. West Of The Road and The Rattler Obrien have been in good form in point-to-points and they both merit consideration. Fitobust and Marlpit Oak also have claims.

Earl Grez looks sure to be in the shake-up and Just Bridget is also entitled to be thereabouts. King's Chase and Bit Of A Clown also make the shortlist but the one to beat could be DUSSHERA. Philip York's mare has been in terrific form in the point-to-point sphere and she posted some solid efforts in hunters' chases last year. She looks the one to beat.

He is fancied to get the better of Duke Of Kentford, who has been in good form in point-to-points. Orfeo Conti and Pastek both merit consideration and Arbour Hill, who will have no problem with the trip, can also make his presence felt.

William Butler and Start Royal can also get involved but the verdict goes the way of HAWKEYE NATIVE.
