RUBAN built on the promise of his return from a lengthy absence when bolting up on the Fibresand over this trip. He looks well handicapped off 77 and if he can translate his recent effort back to the Polytrack, he should take plenty of beating. It's difficult to look past the Charlie Appleby-trained RAZOR WIND, who has yet to finish out of the frame in six appearances and he was so impressive when winning a C&D handicap last time. A first-time hood worked a treat for Blue Aegean at Chelmsford two starts back but didn't stop her racing freely at Kempton on Wednesday. It is too soon to write her off, but perhaps there is enough doubt over her temperament to earn FIELD GAME the vote as a recent outing over 6f ought to have blown the cobwebs away and a drop back to the minimum trip should suit. The returning Ivors Rebel completes the shortlist because he scored at Lingfield in September and wasn't beaten by far in a valuable sales race at the Curragh prior to that.
