Dhhamaan was outclassed in a valuable 6f sales race at Newmarket earlier in the month but he has a sound chance today on his course second to Pegasus Again in August. Game Park and the Godolphin newcomer, Whispered Dreams, are others worthy of respect, but the vote ultimately goes the way of ELIZABETH SWANN, who's been made to play second fiddle in her first three racecourse visits. She's done very little wrong in defeat and it looks only a matter of time before she goes one better.

AIDE MEMOIR was far from disgraced in two hot Group races in the summer and she's likely to have derived considerable benefit from her reappearance run in a tougher heat than this at Salisbury a fortnight ago. The booking of Ryan Moore looks significant and a big performance can be expected. Swallow Star could make her presence felt if back to her debut form, but the one to fear most is May Day Queen, who opened her account in a decent fillies' maiden (four subsequent scorers) over this C&D when last seen in July.

Charles Cyzer has a decent hand here with Lady Dedlock and SUSIE MAY and the latter is taken to come out on top. Her sole win came in a Brighton claimer in August but she looked very capable of winning a race of this nature when beaten only a neck over 2m at Kempton around two weeks ago. Diamond Key enjoyed the step up to 1m5f at Wolverhampton last time but she's been dealt a 6lb rise in the weights and her stamina for this 2m trip has to be taken on trust.

FOR LIFE has been in fantastic form since returning from a six month break earlier in the year and he's now 24lb higher in the weights than when opening his account in July. He seems to get on very well with Natalia Gemelova, who takes off a valuable 5lb, and the manner in which he scored at Brighton last time (a little easier than the official margin would suggest), gave the impression his winning run may not be over. The consistent Dvinsky and the Rod Millman-trained Makabul could give him most to worry about on this occasion.
