A fiercely competitive opener but a decent case can be made for SEEK THE FAIR LAND. The 4-y-o has been much improved this winter, rising through the ranks at a fair rate of knots, and did nothing wrong when a fast finishing third to Bravo Echo in a strong race over C&D last month. He seems sure to go well again and has a good draw to aid his chance, something which cannot be said of front runner Pegasus Again, who has been in terrific form recently. Celtic Sultan is entitled to just need this but has some good form to his name, while recent Wolverhampton winner Arachnophobia and Lucky Redback are others worth considering.
It may pay to stick with those who go well fresh, and a repeat from Masai Moon of his excellent comeback effort on polytrack last season would see him go close. Ocean Legend is thriving, and could improve again under Frankie Dettori, while Crown Choice hit the ground running on AW this time last year and could have more to offer if his yard have revived him.

Mister Green has been highly tried of late and seems sure to prove popular returning to handicap company but it seems significant that Sir Michael Stoute has kept JEDI in training as a 4-y-o and he could be capable of a good deal better yet. A good third at Chester back in May, the Pivotal gelding only made it to the track once more last season but is in the right hands and looks feasibly treated off his current mark of 83. Another expected to do well this year is Tinaar, a winner on the polytrack last term, and Record Breaker.
Quite a few unexposed types here, and it could pay to side with Tinaar on only her seventh-career start, as she's proven on polytrack and may not have peaked yet. King Olav fared best of a number of these in the Rosebery and can confirm that form, though Red Cadeaux is expected to finish much closer this time.

Musaafer and Lord Zenith both looked good when winning their maidens in fine style but both found things tougher when stepped up to pattern class in the Autumn and look to have been found a suitable starting point here. Zaahy looked a colt with a real future when landing a Novice event here back in September, beating the smart Champagne Style in good style. All three should make up into decent performers this year but CARNABY STREET sets a strong standard having landed the Group 3 Horris Hill on his final start of last year and makes plenty of appeal today unpenalised for that win.
Carnaby Street sets a pretty high standard for the rest to aim at, but perhaps lacks the scope of Lord Zenith and Zaahy who may improve past him. Slight preference is for Lord Zenith, who looks the type to go on to better things this season.

The well touted Aetos was well backed to score over 7f here last month and is clearly thought capable of better than he has shown so far. Still showing signs of inexperience on that occasion, he can be expected to have come forward again today, but preference is for the more battle-hardened DHERGHAAM. The Exceed And Excel colt was placed twice from three starts in last season's juvenile campaign, ending the season with a good second to Rule Of Nature, and looks to have the edge here. The Mark Johnston-trained newcomer Sennockian Storm makes most appeal of the remainder.
Dherghaam and Aetos are the picks of those to have raced, and preference is just for the former, Aetos having looked a bit of a handful here last time. Mark Johnston's Sennockian Storm cost a pretty penny and makes most appeal of the newcomers on paper.

Crazy In Love has previous experience on her side having finished sixth over C&D on her debut twelve days ago but that form doesn't look the strongest and it could pay to side with the newcomer SHEWALKSINBEAUTY. Representing the Richard Hannon stable, she is sure to know her job first time out and has a good draw to aid her chance. Brocklesby also-ran Sir Lunchalott looks best of the rest with the Bahri filly Fit For Purpose another newcomer worth a look.
Little racecourse evidence to go on, and the market should help guide as always in these events. Shewalksinbeauty has the assistance of the champion jockey and is one to monitor, but at likely longer odds a tentative vote goes to the Kyllachy filly Mini Bon Bon, whose stable has done well on the AW since the turn of the year.

Denied a clear passage on that occasion, she seems ready to strike soon and is up just 1lb for her last run. Unlimited was in really good form last month and seems sure to make his presence felt, with Lastkingofscotland another in top shape at present. Copperwood failed to fire in his hat-trick bid last time, while Art Market is also of interest.
Copperwood came up short in his hat-trick bid at Kempton last time, and may well have to settle for minor honours again behind Lastkingofscotland, who looks well treated at present. Ivory Lace looks well handicapped and can also get involved.
