This should go the way of KINGSMOSS, who put in a fine effort over 2m at Navan on his debut before fading into third. With that run under his belt, he should be up to landing this. King Of The Refs did noting wrong when fourth at Punchestown on his hurdling bow and could be the one for the forecast. False Evidence has shown little in two runs since his return from more than two years off but has strong claims on his old form.
The pair who can come to the fore are King of The Refs and Kingsmoss. Both made promising hurdling debuts recently and, as winning pointers, will be more at home over this longer trip. King of The Refs may possess that bit more in the way of potential and is narrowly preferred. False Evidence has just about done enough to suggest he'll be thereabouts in the race for third.

WON IN THE DARK has struggled this season at the highest level but dropped in grade last time, he ran out a cosy winner over 2m at Punchestown this month. He should be capable of following up today. Bahrain Storm landed a double last summer and must be given a chance in this grade while Beau Michael also drops in class and is another to consider.
Won In The Dark isn't going to prove a force in the major races this spring, but contests such as this are much more his bag and, even though this trip is slightly further than he's been before, he should have enough in hand. Bahrain Storm has his sights lowered, whilst Wild Passion is entitled to get a bit closer to the winner than last time.

Plenty in with chances here but it's worth taking a chance on top weight LETHAL WEAPON, who was last seen when beaten a distance in the Triumph Hurdle. Before that he'd run up a hat-trick, culminating with a Grade 1 success over C&D, and he might not need to be at the peak of his form to land this. Roscommon winner Tarkari continues to run well and has sound claims while Kandari's only win over timber came in a maiden but he looks open to plenty of improvement.
Several of these these have met here in the past few weeks, and the one who looks best placed to come out on top on this occasion is the relatively unexposed Tarkari. Jigalo ran really well when runner-up earlier in the month and is plainly worthy of respect, whilst Kandari remains unexposed and with more to come.

Cadspeed has undoubted ability but after four straight second-placed efforts over timber he has questions to answer over his application, so MARLAY PARK gets the nod. Mags Mullins' seven-year-old was in the process of running a huge race when unshipping his rider two out at Navan and a clear round should put him in the firing line. The newcomer O Fortuna looks worth a market check, while Jaffonnien could come on for his first experience over timber.
Only 3 can be given any serious chance on the book and, of those, Marlay Park looks by some way the most solid, even if he does have to prove his Navan mishap hasn't left a mark. Cadspeed has the ability, but his string of seconds raise questions over his heartiness, whilst Jaffonien's well-being is in some doubt and he may still just need this to put him spot on.

The one to beat in this contest could be NUVELLI. He's up 8lb following his victory by just over a length over 2m 4f at Gowran Park this month but he'd have won a lot more easily but for a blunder two out and should be capable of defying the handicapper with a clear round. Sky's The Limit was a good third over C&D last time and should go close again, while Mick The Man is up 6lb for his Down Royal success but was an easy winner that day.
Plenty are worthy of consideration, but none can boast credentials as strong as Stewarts House and he looks nailed on to go well after his fine effort behind Seabass. The likeable Leanne is sure to be there or thereabouts, whilst The Bosses Nephew would be worthy of respect if in the same frame as mind as at Naas.

CITIZEN VIC produced by far and away his best performance yet when making every yard of the running in the Grade 1 P.J. Moriarty Chase over 2m5f at Leopardstown three weeks ago and, although eyebrows may be raised over this drop in trip, Willie Mullins doesn't often get it wrong. Major Finnegan stayed on powerfully to take second over 2m at Navan last time and this extra furling should be to his liking, while Coscorrig looks best of the rest off bottom weight.
Citizen Vic and Major Finnegan stand out on form achieved over fences to date and, whilst See U Bob in particular is entitled to close the gap on them, they are the pair most likely to fight things out. Preference goes for Major Finnegan who should be more at home at this trip and receives 3 lb from the Grade 1 winner.

Impressive Paddy Power Gold Cup winner TRANQUIL SEA is fancied to regain the winning thread. He wasn't far off that standard when runner-up in a Grade 1 contest at Leopardstown last time and Andrew McNamara is likely to have him up in the van over a trip which is slightly shorter than ideal this afternoon. The Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham next month is his main target. Veteran performers, Snowy Morning and Mansony, are likely to ask most questions.
Tranquil Sea may not be 100% tuned up with next month's Ryanair in mind, but he has progressed plenty this season and should still have enough in hand to take care of this lot. Made In Taipan should be amongst the places once more, whilst Aran Concerto should be running on at the end.

ARAUCARIA is already right up there in the betting for the Champion 'Bumper' at Cheltenham next month and can book her trip to Prestbury Park with victory here. She was mightily impressive when thrashing a couple of useful animals at Punchestown last time should have few problems taking on the boys. Old Charm readily beat a Willie Mullins hot pot (who has won a hurdle race and a 'bumper' since) at Cork latest and is unlikely to go down without fighting, while Sizing Mexico hasn't put a foot wrong in both starts thus far and cannot be overlooked.
A pretty competitive bumper, as one would expect round here, but Araucaria was most impressive at Punchestown last time and is hard to see past. Sizing Mexico and Old Charm have both also created favourable impressions in winning similar events and can complete the placings.
