Torres Del Paine has shaped with promise in five starts so far and turned in another solid effort when second of four at Lingfield earlier this month. The smartly bred Madlool takes the eye on paper and warrants the utmost respect on debut but a safer bet could come in the shape of PROGRESS, who has previous racecourse experience on her side. Jeremy Noseda's filly made an eye-catching debut when fifth to the well touted Inler in a warm Newmarket maiden back in October and she seems sure to have come on plenty from that initial experience.
Progress made a highly encouraging start in a decent Newmarket maiden over this trip in October, and could prove too strong for the frustrating Caramelita. Significant support for any of the well-bred newcomers, Madlool in particular, would put a different slant on things, however.

Posy Fossil is probably capable of more progress but may need a slight drop in the ratings to lose her maiden tag. The well drawn Turf Time has been in fine form since the turn of the year and cannot be ruled out despite failing to fire last time, but preference is for RIGHTCAR who had too many guns for the former when winning over C&D just over three weeks ago. A 5lb rise in the weights seems fair and he is taken to win again. Recent course third Roybuoy is another to enter calculations.
Hard to be positive about most in this field. Mac Tiernan and especially Posy Fossil would be of interest if supported, but it may be worth risking Val C who has blinkers on for the first time. Turf Time should also be thereabouts.

Recent Southwell winner Sedgwick can be expected to run well again but takes a rise in grade. It's not a race to be getting heavily involved in but HURAKAN comes into this in really good form and appeared to have plenty up his sleeve when drawing clear from a modest bunch around here earlier this month. He should be made to work harder today but looks the most solid choice. The dropped in class Sahrati was a cut above these at his best but he was well held over hurdles last time and may not be quite as good now with similar sentiments applying to State General.
Sahrati possibly isn't one to place maximum faith in, but he's shaped quite well in 3 spins over hurdles for his new stable and should be up to taking advantage of a drop in class reverted to the Flat. Hurakan and Sedgwick have been in good heart on AW this winter and look the obvious dangers.

Ray Of Joy is just 2lbs higher than his last winning mark but he doesn't get on the scoresheet often enough. SUNSHINE ALWAYS was some way below his best when a disappointing favourite at Lingfield last time but the 4-y-o has a good record around here and makes plenty of appeal on the back of his runners-up effort to Totally Focussed over 1m here previously. He looks worth another chance although the in-form Cut And Thrust and Kipchack should give him plenty to think about.
Priti Fabulous is very interesting returned to a trip she's been crying out for, but Last Sovereign won on his comeback here last season and gets the nod. Cut And Thrust shouldn't be dismissed either.

SIR SANDICLIFFE has only three victories in a 52-race career but he's generally quite consistent and likes it around here. Although he tasted defeat over hurdles last time, Isle De Maurice was an easy winner on his latest flat outing at Lingfield at the beginning of the month and if in similar form today, could take some stopping. Purely By Chance is more than capable on a going day and rates highly with recent two times runner-up Poppy Gregg and Coda Agency respected.
The betting is likely to tell the story with Try Cat, but if there's any strength behind her she's likely to prove hard to beat from a lowly mark on her handicap bow. Poppy Gregg can continue her run of good efforts, whilst recent Lingfield winner Isle de Maurice is another to bear in mind.

Gallantry could do with a drop in the ratings and is held by PEGASUS AGAIN, who has been in terrific form of late and looked very good when beating Den's Gift over 1m at Lingfield in December. The 5-y-o returned to action when only finding the well treated Alfresco too strong over that same C&D earlier this week and a repeat performance today could be good enough to see him outgun recent Wolverhampton winner Ilie Nastase and regain the winning thread. Hereford Boy is another who arrives here in really good heart and he completes the shortlist.
Pegasus Again demonstrated his well-being when runner-up at Lingfield in the week and has to be respected off the same mark, but the fact he could be harried up front by Ilie Nastase and Istiqdaam is a concern. Preference is for Hereford Boy, who has been resurgent in recent months and goes well here. Gallantry has place claims.
