Circus Of Dreams has claims on his runners-up effort over C&D in December but has shown little else of note over fences, while Overstrand is a useful hurdler on his day and is an interesting contender on his return to chasing. It could, however, pay to give another to chance to VASODILATOR, a 125-rated hurdler who finished a well-beaten third on his debut over the larger obstacles at Sedgefield last month. The first and second home that day are better then anything Donald McCain's charge faces here and, having jumped right throughout on that occasion, he will relish the return to a right handed track today.

Thedreamstillalive found only one too good off this mark over an extended 2m 4f here latest and can mount another bold bid today, but he may have to play second fiddle again, this time to OMIX D'OR. The selection showed a liking for testing underfoot conditions when opening his jumping account in good style in a similar event at Market Rasen. There could be more to come following that confidence booster and a 5lb rise doesn't look harsh given that the runner-up has scored since. Wherrimon has risen 11lb in the handicap for a comfortable C&D win last time out but another big run seems likely and he completes the shortlist.

RAY MOND produced a much-improved jumping performance when doubling his tally in facile fashion over this trip on soft ground at Southwell last time out and an 8lb rise in the ratings doesn't look enough to halt him, providing he is in the same mood this afternoon. Mr Floppy also produced an improved effort on his latest outing, opening his account over 2m5f at Folkestone, and he looks the most likely to capitalise if the selection fluffs his lines. Brimham Boy has been running well in defeat in recent months and looks a solid each-way bet.

Former top-class staying hurdler BLAZING BAILEY is still searching for his opening chase success after two attempts but he appears to have been found a good opportunity to make it third time lucky today. After being narrowly held on his chasing bow, Alan King's 8-y-o wasn't disgraced in third behind RSA Chase hope Burton Port and there is nothing of that class in opposition today. Dance Island was a comfortable scorer on his initial chase assignment but more is needed here and the selection can be given most to think about by Bench Warrent, who has made the frame in a couple of Grade 2 events since impressively opening his chasing account at the first attempt.

Cesium's flop at Huntingdon last month is sandwiched between two victories, including an easy C&D success last time out. Tom George's charge is sure to be a popular selection but a repeat performance is no guarantee, especially after a 9lb rise in the handicap for his latest success, and the preference is for BRADFORD BORIS. The lightly-raced 6-y-o may have made it third time lucky over fences but for a mistake 2 out at Exeter latest and he has plenty of scope. Rosie All Over continues to slide down the ratings and could be set for a prominent showing.
