COLLINGWOOD has plenty of decent form on the level, including when winning at Leopardstown two starts ago. More importantly, he's won at this unique venue so should be hard to stop. Absa Lutte likes this trip and wasn't beaten far at Dundalk last time out. She's a little high in the weights but has place claims. Belle Noverre was a solid fourth at Nottingham on her latest start and is another for the shortlist.
In a race where there are form/temperament issues surrounding most of the runners, dual winner at the track Collingwood appeals as the solid selection, despite an 8 lb rise for his Leopardstown success. Belle Noverre is a danger with a promising claimer booked, whilst it may be worth taking a stab at Kaplinsky for third in spite of the trip.

SURFER GIRL takes a drop in class after finishing fifth in better company at Galway last time out. She's not shown a lot so far but is dropping down the weights and this won't take much winning. Green To Gold found 1m4f too testing at Tramore last time and will prefer this trip. He's another who's had help from the handicapper. Happy Milly didn't fire at Killarney last time but had earlier gone well at Tramore and could bounce back.
This looks a particularly weak event and, provided she's fully wound up after an absence, Cullofane can get a belated first win under her belt. Surfer Girl has bits and pieces of form which give her a decent chance, whilst Happy Milly is another to consider.

QUAY DU ROI has winning form over course and distance and is favoured by these weights. His form has been patchy over timber but the return to this surface could pay dividends. Gordon Elliott won this 12 months ago and has another good chance with Careless Abandon. She's been off a year but will be ready to go. Baggio would be giving away more weight in a handicap and his best efforts on the Flat have been over this trip.
Not many have much of a chance at these weights on the face of it, so it's worth taking a chance on the enigmatic Quai du Roi putting his best foot forward with an excellent claimer up. Corana and Senators Alibi are others who can't be trusted judged on this year's form, but do have the ability to go close if on a going day.

TROTTING WEASEL likes this trip and ran close to his best form when second at Dundalk last time. He should have no problem with the surface and has solid claims. Option Be looks on a nice weight and has been knocking on the door at this level. He was well backed when third last time and any market support again would be interesting. Mt Weather has the all-important course win to his name and should come into off 2lb lower than winning here.
A run-of-the-mill handicap where it looks worth taking a chance on Sally Bawn building on her reappearance and taking advantage of her basement mark. Gracious Girl has had plenty of chances off similar marks without winning, but is at least in form and should be thereabouts, whilst Option Be can get the better of MT Weather in the battle for third.

RICHELIEU runs off just 1lb higher than when a close-up second in similar company at Down Royal two starts ago. He wasn't at his best at the Curragh last time but he has gone well here before and can bounce back. If Paradise has gone up the weights but he's been in cracking form and saves his best for this distance. Rockazar has run a couple of good races around here and is fairly weighted on his best form. He was poor at Gowran latest but shouldn't be written off.
Wikaala may not be entirely straightforward, but there's little doubt that he has plenty of ability and is well capable of winning handicaps off marks in the mid 70's. He's taken to get the better of a couple with winning form at this idiosyncratic course, namely Rockazar and Richelieu.

TILABAY won his maiden really well at Wexford last time and looks capable of following up. He has plenty of stamina, which is a big plus around here, and is favoured by the weights. Solid Air was a good second at Dundalk last time and will be right on the premises if repeating that effort. Narquois switches back from novice chasing and is worthy of respect coming from the Noel Meade stable.
Quite a trappy race to close proceedings, but 2 who make the most appeal are both dropping back in trip, Tilabay and Narquois. Tilabay made a winning start for this yard at 1½m last time and, given how well he travelled that day, should handle this different test. Solid Air looks the most solid of the remainder and is taken to complete the 3.
