THE BRASSMOULDER enjoyed a debut that wasn't devoid of promise at Tramore last month and Henry de Bromhead's charge looks to have more scope for improvement than most of this field. Kitty B stayed on well to take third at Ballinrobe last time out, but could need a step up in distance to be seen at best effect, while Chateauneuf Du Pap has already been handed plenty of opportunities and continues to make mistakes over his hurdles.

There was plenty to like about VINTAGE SALON's 33-1 second at Uttoxeter last time out and those first-time blinkers looked to make a big impact on his display. WATER SPRITE won well at Tramore on her penultimate start (Flat) and never really got a chance to follow up at Bellewstown a few days later, when her challenge was halted at the fifth hurdle after being brought down. This represents a nice opening for her to bounce back and the six-year-old mare can account for My Direction, who returned to form last time out and won't mind this step up in trip, and Lucky Pat, who can boast a remarkable 3-3 record at this venue.
