CAUSE OF CAUSES was turned over at cramped odds at Downpatrick in March but wasn't given the greatest of rides by his jockey, who got him trapped in a pocket on the inside from the second last. Defeated by a length at the line, compensation could await over this extra furlong if avoiding a similarly rough passage. White Feathers kept on at the one pace in the finish over 2m at Tramore last time and will relish this stiffer trip, with ex-Flat recruit Dream Achieved worthy of a market check on his hurdles bow.
Things didn't go to plan for Cause of Causes when he failed to land the odds last time but the potential to win races in this sphere remains. He was only just ahead of White Feathers that day so that filly commands respect, as does hurdling newcomer Dream Achieved who was useful on the Flat for Barry Hills in 2011.

Although she lacked the finishing kick of the winner, she jumped well and is expected to strip fitter for the run. A New Day shaped as if this stiffer test would suit when third at Wexford last time and has place claims, while money for Gordon Elliott's bumper winner Spring Lane would also be noteworthy.
E Mac had been off nearly 2 years prior to chasing home a useful prospect at Tipperary and stands a good chance of going one better here. She may have most to fear from facile Downpatrick bumper winner Spring Lane, now setting out over hurdles, with Mallowney completing the shortlist.

Masked Phantom has been struggling to get his head in front lately but has solid place claims.
Masked Phantom is a frustating sort but still looks worth another chance to shed his maiden tag. Cloughmile and Point The Toes are a couple of others to consider in a trappy affair.

Zuzka is expected to be the subject of market support in the bumper finale for Willie and Patrick Mullins but while the Flemensfirth mare is one to keep the right side of, WALL STREET WALLY is preferred. Noel Meade's gelding can benefit from having had two runs as a five-year-old and can take plenty of encouragement from his Fairyhouse effort (second) in September last year - a race which has since thrown up two winners.
