Volcanic Jack started the year in a sprint handicap at this track but the emphasis is very much on stamina rather than speed as he tackles 2m for the first time tonight. Judging by his staying on fourth over 1m4f at Wolverhampton latest, he is at least worth a try at the trip, but preference is instead for RODRIGO DE FREITAS, who has placed over C&D in the past and returned to form when third at Lingfield latest.
