MIKE'S HONEY BUNNY defied short-priced favouritism over 1m when last sighted in July and if ready to roll following a break, the seven-year-old mare will take some beating. Sunset Belle and Katy Lied look best of the rest.
GOT ZIP shaped well on debut and with improvement a distinct possibility, the gelded son of City Zip is taken to appreciate this step up in trip. Afleet Bandit is another to take seriously while Party Man appeals most from an each-way perspective.
STORM MAKE'N continues to hold his form well and the drop in class is expected to bring out the best in this four-year-old. Liquid Fire has claims on what he has shown of late while Helliecat is also worthy of another chance elsewhere in the field.
PROMISEI'LLBEHOME displayed an eye-catching turn of foot to score by a neck when last sighted and a similar hold-up ride could prove profitable again. A career-best speed figure of 101 suggests he has enough speed to win over the 6f here but keep a close eye on New Believer and Sky Victor.
SOUTHERN PARKWAY stepped up on his debut effort when second at Arlington Park last month and the extra yardage on offer here should suit on that evidence. Hogue found only one too good at the first time of asking and must be respected accordingly, while Empire Taker is also expected to step up on his initial effort.
CAPTAIN GOODENOUGH failed to justify favouritism last month but it was an improvement on his debut effort and further progress should see him get offf the mark at the third time of asking. New York Runaway is more exposed but heads the dangers, with Done Gone another holding claims.
Class-droppers Sassy's Dream and Endless Expanse are highly respected but marginal preference is for EMPIRE SPRING. Christophe Clement's filly bounced back from a poor Woodbine run when scoring by four lengths there last month and that will have done his confidence the power of good.
COALPORT ran a debut full of promise when scoring over 1m at Arlington Park last time and looks capable of following up if returning in the same mood. Here Comes Frazier was another impressive debut scorer but needs to prove he stays this longer trip. Monastic completes the shortlist.
Gerard Butler's PACHATTACK has been running to a high level of form since sent over the the US and built upon her Arlington Grade 3 success in May when landing the silver medal in a Saratoga Grade 1 latest. Others to consider are the consistent Aruna and Tapitsfly.
RESCUE SQUAD hinted his turn was near when finishing runner-up at Aqueduct last time and, having posted a career-best speed figure that day, compensation could feasibly be in the offing if returning in the same mood. The eased-in-grade Gautier and Lighthouse Sound are others to consider.
