Bispham Green probably sets the standard on form and he is entitled to be on the premises but it might be best to focus on some of the interesting newcomers. Red Explorer makes plenty of appeal and he makes the shortlist, along with Secret Look, who has plenty of speed in his pedigree. However, a tentative verdict goes to David Brown's filly FIDGET, a full sister to the very useful sprinter Moorhouse Lad.
Mille N Aire heads those with experience but the newcomers wouldn't need to be up to much to win this and, with expensive purchase Red Explorer bred for further, Spirit of Parkes and Secret Look are preferred in that order.

RED ROAR won with a little bit in hand over 5f at Carlisle earlier this week and she is fancied to give another good account here despite a 6lb penalty. Comptonspirit showed signs of a return to top form at Beverley earlier this month and it would be no surprise to see her get involved. First In Command has been in good heart of late and he merits consideration, along with Ballarina and Avonvalley.
Cool In The Shade and Ballarina are both worth considering, but a potential battle for the lead could well set the race up for the strong-travelling First In Command. Market support for Jamaican Bolt would be interesting.

Kiz Kulesi impressed when making a winning debut in a Newmarket maiden in October last year and he must be respected on his handicap debut. The progressive Trail Blaze is also considered, along with Gaul Wood, Lady Loch and On The Hoof.
The likeable Trail Blaze showed a willing attitude when just edged out in a C&D handicap last time and is taken to go one better this time. Lady Loch is an obvious threat if the headgear works again, while Kiz Kulesi should have more to come this year.

KAAFEL was denied by the narrowest of margins at Nottingham last month and he sets the standard for the others to aim at, so he could take plenty of beating. Sunnybridge Boy shaped nicely on his debut at Doncaster last summer and he looks a likely contender on his reappearance. Vespasia makes plenty of appeal on breeding and she is worth a precautionary market check. The same can be said for Richard Fahey's debutant, Mountain Summit.
Kaafel isn't really progressing, but he sets a fair standard here and looks the most likely winner on balance. Sunnybridge Boy would be a big threat if ready to go after an absence, while Mean It is a likely-looking newcomer.

Levitate looks sure to go well despite a 6lb penalty for his Doncaster success last Sunday and the hat-trick seeking Postscript commands the utmost respect, but slight preference is for DOLPHIN ROCK. STRAWBERRYMYSTIQUE made a winning handicap debut at Wolverhampton in March and although she competes off 7lb higher today, she could still be the one to beat if equally as effective on turf. Amazing Blue Sky was not disgraced at Thirsk earlier this week and he could be in the shake-up, along with Ampleforth, who is an interesting contender on his first run for Ian Williams. The other Ian Williams representative, Mount Abora, also makes some appeal.
Strawberrymystique probably has more to offer switched to turf, but the reliable Vanilla Rum has shaped very well the last twice at Newmarket, and he's taken to resume winning ways. The returning Stylistickhill completes the shortlist.
