Verdict

It is the first racemeeting on the newly refurbished Polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville and with decent field sizes should make for entertaining and exciting horseracing. Well-bred Danon Platina filly CHERRY OH BABY can start things nicely for favourite players. She has finished second four times in a row and those form lines are decent. LONG STREET is also overdue. She has run well on both turf and poly and could be a danger with a light weight. FANTASY LEAGUE should also benefit and she has the best of the draws to boot. TAKEYOURBESTSHOT and DOIN' TIME can get into the money too.

Verdict

MASTER BOMBER was beaten in a close finish by Dubbelosix who impressed in a tougher race since. That could be the form line to be with even if MASTER BOMBER has drawn widest on poly debut. SILVER PLATTER will be looking to take advantage. He has finished runner-up in his last three and has been treated kindly in terms of his plum starting stall. He should take to the surface if judged on his running style. BLACK PLATINA has steady form and needs to find a bit more for the win but could improve on the poly. The same can be said for PARLIAMENT SQUARE and MANY WATERS.

Verdict

WOZA NAWE proved to be slightly in need of her last start after a rest where she was beaten only 0.55 lengths. She has shown she can be switched off and so could also be effective over the longer distance. JULIET TANGO rates a big danger. She has shown class, is in good form at present and must benefit from a 2.5kg apprentice claim. FAIZAH asserted her authority with a 4kg claim to win a nice race but does not have that advantage this time. Still she has run well on the surface and must be respected. ONE PATH and MISSISSIPPI SPICE can go well at the weights. GINGER DELIGHT has a say too.

FIELD MARSHAL stayed on well to beat TROIS TROIS QUATRE and JOHNNY THE THIEF in a driving finish last time. He enjoys the poly as well and could confirm even if worse off at the weights. TROIS TROIS QUATRE is knocking hard at the door. He has gone close on the poly before and would be deserving. Verdict

It could be the race for EVENTIDOR to finally get back to winning ways. It has been a while since he last tasted success but he is holding form on turf and should enjoy being back on his best surface. SHINY BOB made improvement running on strongly only to be beaten 0.50 lengths last time. He has the best of the draws and could take advantage. NUMZAAN turned in a fluent winning performance with a light weight in his last start. He has run well on the poly and it could be the right race for him to follow up. PORFIRIO didn't show on turf last time but won easily the last time he raced on poly.

Verdict

Good field for this B Stakes. BRISTOL HERCULES caught the eye the last two times he came back from a rest. He is knocking at the door and if enjoying the poly could finally add to his tally from gate No 1. But it is quite competitive. ZINIKELE and FEW DOLLARS MORE are both dangerous poly specialists that have not drawn badly. The former has stamina on her side having shown up strongly behind a promising sort last time. FEW DOLLARS MORE wasn't beaten far in a race run in a very fast time before a rest. SUNDANCE KID and SHOEFELLA are both capable of producing good efforts in this.

DRIVE BY finally won on the turf last time. She won well enough to suggest she would win again soon on the grass but is even better on poly and she looks well placed. QUENTASIA was beaten 0.30 lengths by the former and is 2kg better off. She is also effective on the poly and from gate No 1 could have her way this time. Verdict

GETOFFOFMYCLOUD showed good resolve to oust another useful sort in Jeanne Darc to win her maiden at the second time of asking. If she doesn't prove in need of the run after a rest she could make a fair poly debut from gate No 2. On riding arrangments stablemate ARVERNIAN GODDESS could be the stable elect.
