JENARI is likely to start a warm order here and it's not hard to see why having found only the exciting duo Lovethehigherlaw and Waaheb too strong in the Grade 1 Champion Bumper at Punchestown in May. A half-brother to top-class novice winner Jered, Jessie Harrington's charge should take the world of beating if he takes to timber. Rocky Wednesday was highly tried last term but has already had five attempts over obstacles, while Silver Shuffle has some good form and arrives fit from the Flat.
Jenari was easily the best of these in bumpers and should have no bother making a winning debut over hurdles given a clear round, most likely at the expense of Rocky Wednesday and Silver Shuffle.

MOUNT BENBULBEN, winner of two of his three bumper starts, was last seen beating subsequent Punchestown Festival winner Lovethehigherlaw by eight lengths at Limerick in March and, having subsequently been bought for 250,000 pounds, big things are expected of the Beneficial gelding over hurdles this season. Letter Of Credit, sixth to Lovethehigherlaw at Punchestown, clearly has a bit to find although his recent efforts over hurdles have been encouraging. Coral Creek should also give the selection something to think about.
Mount Benbulben, who changed hands for a large sum following his victory in a Limerick bumper in March, is bound to have been well schooled by Gordon Elliott and should make a winning debut over hurdles if jumping fluently. Coral Creek and The Ethiopian can fill the places.

Hebridean is a fascinating contender returned to timber having landed a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle for Paul Nicholls in 2009 but more recent form suggests INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU might be the one to beat. He has gone up 2lb for last month's Listowel third but the heavy ground was against him that day and the drop in distance may also be in his favour. Priors Gold found only one too good at Cheltenham recently and Gordon Elliott's four-year-old could yet have a bit more to offer over hurdles. Louisville Lip needs to learn to settle.
Priors Gold produced a career-best second at Cheltenham last time and is marginally preferred to Morning Ireland, who landed some decent bets when winning a Clonmel maiden last time. Louisville Lip completes the shortlist.

Laganbank continues to go from strength to strength but he has to concede 6lb to JUST FOR JOE and there's a chance that might prove too much. The latter has improved steadily with every outing and backed up his 25-length Cork bumper win in April with a near five-length maiden hurdle triumph at Roscommon. Hannah Lee's gelded son of Presenting looks to have a bright future. The other one of note is Virgil Earp, but he was a long way behind Laganbank at Listowel on his penultimate start.
It's hard to look beyond the progressive Laganbank who has been going from strength-to-strength. Just For Joe is another improver, though not at such a rate, and he makes most appeal to chase the selection home with Virgil Earp rated third best.

The JP McManus-owned pair of Ainama and SWEEPS HILL both have solid chances of success here, with marginal preference for the latter, who is rated 3lb superior on official figures after finishing runner-up in a novices' chase at Killarney in July. The first-named looks the main danger having opened his chase account at Ballinrobe over 2m6f last time, in the process confirming that bottomless ground holds no fears. Grey Soldier, rated 130 over hurdles, is another to consider now tackling fences for the first time.
Foildubh was in the process of running a big race before unseating rider on his chasing bow in a Grade 3 at Roscommon. However, Ainama and Sweeps Hill, both of whom were useful hurdlers, have greater experience in this sphere to draw upon, and preference is for the former. Likely improver Westmeath and the bold-jumping Regal d'Estruval add spice to what should be an informative contest.

GOOD DECISION wasn't fazed by the step up in trip when defeated by less than a length by Burnt Oil Babe over 2m4f at Punchestown last month. The handicapper has edged him up 3lb for that effort but he is is open to more improvement over the trip and could feasibly reverse placings with the last-named over this longer trip off 2lb better terms. Second Glance has edged up 4lb for her recent Sligo second but is another expected to be suited by the return to this longer distance, having put in her best work in the closing stages over 2m1f last time.
Good Decision may well reverse Punchestown form with Burnt Oil Babe, but both may have to settle for minor honours behind Second Glance, who would probably have won but for a late mistake back over fences last time.

THE ENGINEER has improved with each run to date and finished a creditable third in a Punchestown bumper when last sighted. Whats Happening has winning form between the flags and is one to consider on his first run under Rules while Ipsos Du Berlais is another winning pointer worthy of consideration, especially with trainer Noel Meade in rude health at present. Millers Reef has place claims based on the form of his Sligo second in July.
Ipsos Du Berlais may have been off for a while, but he fits the bill as yet another above-average recruit from points for Noel Meade, and looks to have strong claims. The Engineer and Artic King can chase him home.
