Jimmy is entitled to have come forward for his latest course spin and joins Itsaboutime, who won in determined fashion over C&D in April, on the shortlist.

FINNEGAN'S GARDEN has an absence to overcome, but it is worth chancing he is ready to roll as he bowed out last season in fine form. An impressive Plumpton success in the spring was sandwiched between two course victories and this seven-time winner over fences could still be well treated. Way Out West will be out to put his race-fitness to good use as he finished third at Worcester last month, while Flight To Milan rates best of the rest.

He has a nice racing weight for this assignment and is a track-and-trip winner too, having dotted up by nine lengths here in the spring. He has gone well fresh in the past and might represent some value in the market. Tazka should also be taken seriously.

I K BRUNEL found the step up into Grade 2 company too much on his second hurdles outing at Kempton in February, finishing a well-beaten sixth. However, he had shaped with significant promise prior to that effort when third to subsequent Grade 1 winner Elixir De Nutz at Cheltenham last December and the step up in trip appeals as bringing out some improvement. In Rem finished second on his sole bumper outing at Stratford in March and warrants plenty of respect on his hurdling bow, while Robins Field and Supreme Escape complete the shortlist.

EDEN DU HOUX maintained his 100% record with authority when landing a listed bumper at Ascot back in December and this exciting prospect is fancied to come out on top again now tackling timber. I K Brunel found Grade 2 company too much at Kempton in February but remains with potential, so he's the chief threat, ahead of In Rem.

LOVE THE LEADER returned to winning ways in a conditional jockeys' contest over 3m1f at Wincanton six days ago and is expected to go very well off an unchanged rating. Big Time Frank has been off the track since April but was a pillar of consistency last term and could feature prominently under 5lb conditional Tabitha Worsley. The pick of the remainder may be Our Reward, who won off 19lb higher over hurdles last month and is potentially well treated over fences on that form.
