Romeo Americo has been knocking on the door and should be in the mix once again, but HELIOPSIS edges the vote. He still travelled sweetly and looked certain to go close before being brought down three from home at Bangor last time and could gain some just compensation with a trouble free passage this afternoon. Tothemoonandback was bought into the Gary Moore stable for 45,000 pounds shortly after his point-to-point success at Dromahane in March and warrants plenty of respect first time under Rules.
Romeo Americo has posted good efforts on his last 2 starts, and a repeat of that form here should be enough to take this. Heliopsis was unfortunate last time and rates the main danger, whilst Tothemoonandback would be interesting if the market speaks in his favour.

LAJIDAAL could make it third time lucky over the larger obstacles at a course he clearly likes. The five-year-old has won and been placed twice in three previous visits to the West Sussex venue and he shaped as though stepping back up in trip would help when collecting the bronze medal over 2m2f here last time. Catch The Rascal looks an obvious danger on the back of her creditable third place finish at Wincanton, while Laughing Game certainly isn't out of it either.
Not one of these has a convincing profile and stakes are best kept to a minimum. Catch The Rascal at least has something in her favour, namely the return to further, and she just gets the nod ahead of Captain Crackers and Terra Bleu.

It could pay to side with the first-time visored AZULADA BAY. Mark Rimell's gelding has been in fine form recently and the fitting of a new piece of tack this afternoon may just help him find another gear. Little Carmela ought to figure prominently if in the same mood as when third at Uttoxeter 15 days ago, while Mudita Moment ran well enough at Warwick last time and is certainly no forlorn hope competing from the foot of these weights.
Milans Well would have won here but for veering right on the run-in in April and, better than the bare result since, looks well worth sticking with. Little Carmela and Mudita Moment rate the main threats.

This prize should go the way of the in-form BLUE HILLS. He was unlucky to bump into the well-handicapped Opera Og (who has won again since) when bidding to complete a hat-trick of wins at Wincanton last time and, with no such rival in this line-up, he can regain the winning thread. Clu Agus Cail may have just needed the run when well beaten over hurdles here last month and can be given another chance, while Al Amaan needs to iron out the jumping mistakes if he's to get involved.
Another very unappetising handicap chase, in which only Blue Hills boasts a reliable profile. David Bridgwater's charge should give another good account, but it may be worth risking C&D winner Clu Agus Cail in the hope she's benefited from a recent spin over hurdles. Al Amaan promises to figure, too.

RED ROCK showed a likeable attitude when striking on his first start for Emma Lavelle at Plumpton some two months ago (fourth has won since) and, although a 6lb rise in the ratings is sure to make life tougher, he remains relatively unexposed and is fancied to follow up. Galiotto has shaped encouragingly in a couple of starts on the level recently and makes plenty of appeal on his return to hurdling duty, while Keep Talking was in decent form towards the end of last year and commands respect now returning.
Red Rock improved for the switch to this stable when off the mark at Plumpton last time and is taken to follow up. Screaming Brave has been given a chance by the handicapper and can't be ruled out if ready after an absence, with Keep Talking also making the shortlist.

LE GRAND CHENE shaped with a little more promise last time and if he can build on that effort, he can certainly make his presence felt in this company. The application of a tongue-tie could help his cause. Wilde Ruby finished ahead of him on that occasion but he is 9lb worse off here. Caunay would have major claims if returning to his best form and Lombok can also feature if putting his best foot forward.
