An interesting contest with TRI NATIONS given the vote to build on a solid performance when scoring quite cosily at Fakenham last month. The Halling gelding was good enough to win the Wood Ditton on the level and can make his flat speed count round this turning track on ground that will place a premium on pace. Master At Arms is a regular visitor nowadays and scored authoritatively at Stratford. He should be involved once again, along with Duty Free, third on his hurdling debut, and Freddy's Star. Black Jacari has disappointed to date but cannot be discounted just yet.

The Richard Ford yard struck form with a vengeance at the recent two-day Cartmel meeting with three winners, including CLASSIC QUART, who was never in danger when running away with a novice handicap. He totes a 7lb penalty here but is clearly in splendid fettle and should be good enough to score again despite topweight. So Extreme ran a much improved race when going down by a head to Last Flight at this venue and a repeat performance would see him involved here. LADY RHINESTONE has not suggested that she is one of Nicky Henderson's top bumper performers but has shown promise in both outings to date, finishing fifth on both occasions. The Presenting mare was heavily supported on her racecourse debut and is worth another chance. Klampenborg is an obvious threat after his promising debut behind Flexi Time at Uttoxeter, beaten less than 4l into fourth spot, with confidence strengthened by the current good form of his yard. There was good support for MAJY D'AUTEUIL here last time when the gelding finished a respectable runner-up to outsider Ilewin Tom in a fair handicap chase. He hasn't scored over fences in this country but would go close to doing so if repeating that effort off a 1lb higher mark. The Tailor Carey is hard to assess but scored in a point-to-point last time and has satisfactory form over regulation fences in hunter chases. A bigger danger though is Glengarra, an easy winner here last time of a seller but clearly in good heart and with conditions to suit.
