This is an ideal opportunity for OAKLEY WAY, who has been set some stiff tasks in better races than this in her short career, to her to get her head in front. Her main danger looks to be Harlems Halfmoon, as she is a solid performer in this grade, while Dosntreallymatter put up a fair performance on debut and is a likely improver.
CAN'TCATCHJACK has been in top form recently with back to back wins over 5f and 6f here in August. A repeat of those efforts should see him go close for a yard in great form. Electric Currency can go well despite an average run last time and a solid each way selection would be Read The Technique.
I THE PAPPY BOSS and E Z Eddie fought out the finish when the pair last met, with the selection coming out on top, and the strength of that form was highlighted when the runner-up won next time. These two are likely to fight out the finish once again and with a good trip the places can remain the same. Masterkey looks the best of the rest in a moderate field.
A solid performer in this grade FULLFAITHANDCREDIT is one of the few turning up here in good form. His win here three starts ago was followed by two fair efforts in defeat since, another run in top form is Jolson and he's only passed over because this a step up in grade from what he has been contesting of late. Brendan G can be a solid each way play at the forecast prices.
FLYINGSHANIKO was a very good winner when scoring here last month and a reproduction of that run or his third here subsequently would see him go very well. Cinner Dave has been going very close recently and he will be hard to beat once again, as will the consistent Get Busted.
The form of SHE'S MARVY's Belmont win three starts ago gives here a massive chance today and she has joined a yard in top form. She didn't get good rides on either of her next two starts and with a decent trip today she looks the leading contender. Kleptocrat and I'm A Good Looker are capable of fighting it out for the places.
SENORA DE LOLOL has also been knocking on the door of late with two runner-up efforts in her last two starts, while she is a solid performer in this grade and at this track. Eltish Charmer will be a big danger dropping in grade after some fair efforts in allowance company, while Hellcat is another one who finished as a runner-up last time and shouldn't be discounted.
THIRTY PERCENT represents a trainer / jockey combination that can do little wrong at the minute and looks a solid contender now dropped in trip. Howaboutwe is feared most after chasing home a progressive rival at Saratoga, and Crusher Casey is impossible to discount after some solid efforts in defeat.
PRINCESS REYANA put up a bold showing when third over C&D in a similar race earlier this month. On that form she has the beating of She's Off The Hook, although there was only a length between them that day and it wouldn't be a surprise to see that gap narrow. Chrissy Raz is another in fair form and shouldn't be dismissed in what is a moderate race.
