BEAUTIFUL RISK bolted up over C&D in a better race than this a few weeks ago and she is very hard to oppose once again. Broadway Music Gal will be a danger if ready to go after a 10 month break, while Swift Taylor is another to note.
After winning a similar race here recently, RIVER OF MAGIC can be supported to make it back-to-back wins for a yard in top form. File For Divorce and Spider Roll can fight it out for the places.
Westerday will be a popular choice but she has placed 27 times in his career yet only won four of her starts. The six-year-old can be taken on with BEST FRIEND ANNA, who is comparatively unexposed and she has made the framer in half of her eight starts at this venue. Alternative Meds completes the shortlist.
SPELLCHICK is in danger of becoming unexposed, but she has solid form claims in this company and can take the beating. Autumn Leaf must be feared most after a promising debut last time, with Perfect Alignment completing the shortlist.
THINK has been running in better races than this and could prove tough to stop. Buckshot Woody ran well on his reappearance and should have come on for it. Lost In D Shuffle has a bit of work to do but deserves a mention upped in trip.
JUST WATCH ME has been frustrating to follow but he can be given another chance in to redeem himself in this weak contest. Fresh could be a decent time to catch Railroad Indian, while Ghost Ship looks held on form by the selection but should go well once more.
JET SET CAT improved for the step back up to a mile when running on strongly to the line last time out, and could yet have more to come with race fitness on his side. Perfect Gratitude and Point And Go are fairly matched on their recent efforts with preference for the former now having now had valuable match practice. Lesson In Deceit and Classy Al both should need the run after a six month break but have enough ability to take a hand in the finish.
SARATOGA GIRO won well here last time by eight lengths and should improve for the extra half furlong in a similar contest. Frontier Scout ran on strongly over shorter last time so will benefit for the half furlong extra he encounters here. Deficit Hawk looks best of the remainder on his C&D success earlier this month.
NATIVE HERO benefited from a break and the drop back in trip on his most recent outing here earlier this month, and a repeat of that performance makes him the clear one to beat. Smart Thinking and Southern Proper look the most likely to fight it out for the placings.
