This extremely moderate affair looks a match between Athou Du Nord and MINISTEROFINTERIOR. The preference goes to the latter because he does arrive here in decent form, albeit at this low grade level, and he is the most likely to run his race. Athou Du Nord has struggled in two runs since chasing home a good horse on his UK debut in November but if he could bounce back to that form then he would have a massive chance. Of the remainder, Proud Times is marginally the pick.
MINISTEROFINTERIOR is more consistent than most at this level and this looks a good opportunity for him to record his second win of the season. Athou du Nord will be a big danger if able to reproduce the form he showed on his British debut 3 starts ago.

MAN OF STEEL won well at Leicester earlier in the month and, unlike all of his rivals today, he is still young enough to be improving. He should have too much pace for his rivals today. Clonbanan Ladhas not been running too badly in better hunter chases than this recently and he can chase the selection home. The other two are extremely moderate but Talkin Thomas would be the pick of the them.
CLONBANAN LAD was a long way clear of a next-time-out winner when placed for the second time in hunters at Leicester this month. He sets a good standard and should prove too strong for Man of Steel, who was victorious in a weaker race on the same card.

MAID OF TUSCANY only won a selling handicap hurdle two starts ago and on her next starts she was not beaten far in the same grade as this at Southwell. The handicapper has hit her with a 7lb rise in the ratings but this five-year-old is going in the right direction and should have more to offer. Act Of Supremacy makes his handicap debut from a workable mark, based on his third over C&D back in October. Gin And Tonic is high enough in the handicap now but he can make his presence felt, while Neworld is also shortlisted.
Despite losing several lengths at the start, GIN AND TONIC finished a respectable fifth in a 14-runner contest back from a 3-month break here recently. Skint ran a blinder for third at Huntingdon when last seen in December and should be in there pitching again, while Bells Of Ailsworth didn't do a great deal wrong at Taunton and makes solid appeal on that runner-up finish. However, MALIBU ROCK doesn't have many miles on the clock and looked a horse on the up when wining with a bit to spare at Kempton last month. He is fancied to maintain his progression and win again.
Chris Gordon has his team in good form and MALIBU ROCK can overcome a 6 lb rise and make it 2-2 since joining the yard. Recent Taunton runner-up Bells of Ailsworth is an obvious threat, while Heresmynumber is also interesting on handicap debut, particularly if the market speaks in his favour.

MR MADEIT has been in great nick in point-to-points and has won his last four between the flags. Returning to that discipline early last month, the 10-year-old won by five lengths and was equally impressive when winning by further last time, so makes plenty of appeal on his hunter chase bow. It Was Me was still going well before coming to grief in a point last month and the Towcester/Folkestone winner heads the list of dangers from Master Workman.
MR MADEIT took another step forward between the flags when registering his sixth point win in February and has sound prospects of making a winning start to life in hunters, possibly at the expense of It Was Me.

KAYF GRACE has been found a gilt-edged opportunity in this bumper and should get off the mark. Third in a good Southwell bumper on her racecourse debut, the daughter of Kayf Tara ran a head second at Doncaster in January and only has to reproduce that effort to land the spoils. Parisian Star and Clanville Lass are expected to put up most resistance but look sure to be fighting it out for the minor money.
An obvious chance for KAYF GRACE, who was only just denied on debut for this yard at Doncaster 2 months ago. Clanville Lass is selected for the forecast.
