DUCHESS OF SEVILLE seems a bit better than she showed first time with blinkers and is overdue a first victory. RUBY CLAIRE is knocking at the door and should fight out the finish. COSMIC CLIFFS makes her local debut and would not be a surprise winner trying the Polytrack. MIDWICKET can improve trying the Polytrack. Verdict

A weak race and it is hard to believe FLIGHT ENGINEER ran as badly as he did last time out. He tries the Polytrack this time and could bounce back to score. BROOKSIDER is usually competitive and should fight out the finish of this race. CHIEF RUNNER flopped on local debut but would not be a surprise winner trying the Polytrack. GARDEN SUN tries the Polytrack after a change of trainer. PYRO PRINCE was well beaten in both starts but is capable of improvement after a change of trainer and trying this surface. PRINCESS BEAUTIFUL might play a minor role.

CORAL CREEK is probably best on the turf but he did run well on this surface last time out and jockey Richard Fourie knows how to get the best out of him. OLIVER TWIST flopped last time but that run is best ignored and he could be a threat. KYOMAI makes his local debut and is not out of it. SILVER TYCOON is capable of getting into the thick of things when in the mood. BOSNAY likes the Polytrack but is not well drawn. Verdict

SHARAPOVA has been a disappointment in that she has not won for some time now but she is very consistent and one of these days she will have that consistency rewarded with a victory. ASPOESTERTJIE flopped on local debut but is capable of being a threat when in the right mood. POMO'S BIG SPENDER has been in better races than this of late and could be the surprise package. NOTORIX and SWISS WALT both lack a strong finish when they need it most but are not out of it. PASHTUNWALI returns from a break and has a winning chance.
