Verdict

SALUTE DE WINTER showed some promise on local debut and could show further improvement. EAST COAST STAR has been a disappointment of late but is always capable of earning some minor money. CURLY TOP has also been a disappointment in that she has yet to get out of the maiden ranks but cannot be dismissed away lightly and deserves some respect. JUNGLE PROMISE needs to do more to win a race but can earn some minor money. CASTELLO CAMPANULA ran well on debut and can go one better this time. There are some runners making their local debuts and can improve so keep an eye on the betting.

Verdict

A tough card for the punters and this should see a competitive finish. MAGIC BLAZE showed good pace on the Polytrack last time and was caught very late. He has won on the turf and has a winning chance. PARIS OPERA is battling to win another race but is very consistent and must be considered. RAZOR RED has been pulled out twice of intended comeback runs so his fitness will need to be taken on trust, but he did show promise when quickening nicely to win on debut. SILENT OBSERVER is fit and in good form so should also be right there at the finish.

Verdict

LORD MARMITE did well on his local debut and is threatening to win a race. He did not repeat that level on the Polytrack last time. STAR EFFECT is a long time battling maiden but could be winning soon and does have a winning hope. STAR RIDER showed improvement last time and could improve further - place chance. Verdict

REGAL GRADUATION has been struggling all year but her merit rating keeps dropping and one of these days she could surprise. TALLAHASSEE was a bit disappointing last time but could do better back on the turf and has a winning chance. GIMME GIMME GIMME was only fourth last time but that was a better race than this and she should go close to winning. HERRIN probably needed both her comeback runs and could upset. SOLLER stormed home a wide margin winner of her latest start but picked up a hefty penalty and that could anchor her.

Yet another open-looking race. RUN FLORIST RUN has only one win to show for her 15 starts but is threatening to win another race and has done fairly well over this course and distance. CANA has some fair recent form and seems to be improving so must be considered. Stable companions SERIOUS FUN and SACRED IBIS should be at home over this track and distance and each holds a winning chance. RESPECTABLE MISS may be better over shorter but is consistent and could earn some money. LEGEND HAS IT is yet another with a serious shot at winning this race.

Verdict

We might have to go very wide to survive this leg of the exotics. INNERSPACE is clearly capable of a lot better than his last run and could bounce back and earn some money. MAGNUM FIRE lacked a finish last time but is good enough to earn some money if showing his best side. DIRTY MARTINI has only been modest on the Polytrack of late but should prefer being back on the turf. LADY DEFIANCE was caught out of her ground last time. Her form before that was good and she could like this longer distance. ROYAL SHINDIG, ELLIS ISLAND and CHARLIE MCCREEVY are all capable of improvment.

Verdict

A cracking race. MARMARA SEA reminded us that some Polytrack specialists can also win on the turf with a first triumph after numerous losses on that surface. Can he follow-up? JAEGER MOON disappointed some when taken to Kenilworth but is a strong front-runner who is suited to this course and distance and can recoup losses. BLACKBALL makes his local debut and is certainly good enough to make his presence felt if in the mood as he has been unreliable. EARTH HOUR and LOVE HAPPENS are good and reliable sorts who are both capable of winning again.

Verdict

A tough race. THE HIGHWAY MAN is clearly better than his last run would suggest. He has always run his bets races when allowed to dictate matters and last time out was dropped off the pace. KIMBERLEY STAR has not won for some time but usually runs well over this track and trip and must be considered. Stable companion OSCAR WILDE has been in good form for trainer Alan Greeff and has a winning chance. AQUA DELTA, ENCRYPTION, VALETORIO and NORFOLK PINE are all in good heart and are not out of it.
