ICARUS FLIGHT showed improved form in his third start and makes his Eastern Cape debut. PERFECT PLACE disappointed in his last 2 starts but could place. TASHUNCA and PRINCESS REBEL were placed on debut but were a long way behind the winner. Both must be respected. the two likely to fight out the finish are SEATTLE SPLENDOUR and PROFS PET with the former the likely winner.

The Justin Snaith yard normally do very well at this track and the yard is in very fine form. FIFTY CENTS drops down from the Queen's Plate into a handicap and could prove hard to beat. STORMY ECLIPSE is capable of a strong finish when in the mood and will be running on well at the finish. AFRIKABURN has not won in ages but could finish in the money. CAPE REBEL is in fine form.
