Lassue looks an interesting sort after winning her point-to-point at Cothelsotone and producing a promising bumper fourth when running on late over the two miles. Hurdles and this trip should see her in an even better light, but preference is for SWINCOMBE FLEAT. She made her hurdling debut over further last month when prominent throughout before weakening two furlongs from home, so she may well try to make the running over this reduced distance. My Silver Lining ran well in her only point-to-point and also looks to have a bright future.

The solid option is ST ERNEY, who has been in excellent form over C&D this season, winning on his penultimate start off 110 before going down bravely next time off 5lb higher. Soft ground shouldn't be an issue for the son of Kadastrof, having won under these conditions over C&D in March 2019. Runner-up on his last five starts, Faustinovick must enter calculations on his return along with Morning Spirit, who was smart over hurdles last season. Illegal Model didn't get far on his chasing bow but much better is expected here, while both No Rematch and New Age Dawning have long absences to overcome.
