EXPEDITE was well backed on his return when running a solid enough race when third behind Midnight Sapphire and the son of Brian Boru should improve plenty for that reappearance on his second outing of the campaign. Gary Charm didn't appear to enjoy jumping fences here last week, maybe remembering his Cheltenham experience where he unseated, and is interesting back over hurdles in a first-time tongue-tie, while Desert Sensation ran respectably behind Kerrow at Aintree and this looks a weaker contest.
EXPEDITE was backed as though well ahead of his mark on recent stable debut at Newton Abbot, and though he could manage only third, he did help set a solid pace and cheekpieces may well help him. He's well worth another chance, with Kalifourchon and Desert Sensation feared most.

MIGHTY LEADER showed no ill-effects for a quick turnaround when winning well here over hurdles last week and can make his mark returning to fences on his second chase start. Mother Meldrum looks the danger having chased the selection home last time and is another respected going back over the larger obstacles, while Replacement Plan could find a fair amount of improvement for a first-time tongue-tie.
MIGHTY LEADER fell at the first on his only previous try over fences a year ago but he won over hurdles off this mark here last week and he should make a chaser being an Irish-point winner. Moorlands George arrives at the top of his game and is next best ahead of Mother Meldrum, who's been in good form over hurdles and is worth another go in this sphere.

BOA ISLAND has looked a different horse since going over fences on his last two outings at Wincanton and the step up to 3m will only benefit Paul Nicholls' charge, who has struck up a good relationship with Harry Cobden and they can make it 3-3 this season. Minellacelebration showed guts and determination to hold off What A Moment at Aintree last month but a 7lb rise in the ratings does seem a shade harsh, while Easy Street was runner-up here last time and is a player on that form. Laurium was a decent hurdler and is entitled to improve for his chase debut.
This is undoubtedly tougher than the 3-runner affair BOA ISLAND won at Wincanton on Saturday but he's still hard to oppose off the same mark. Last month's C&D scorer Fact of The Matter has made a fine start over fences and could be the one for the forecast spot ahead of Katy Price's Aintree winner Minellacelebration.

Paul Nicholls has plenty of strength in depth in his novice chase department this season and one of his top prospects for the season makes his chasing debut here in AUX PTITS SOINS. The son of Saint Des Saints was subject to plenty of talk before his UK debut in 2015 where he went and landed the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival. He only made one appearance last season in the World Hurdle, due to various issues, and he travelled as well as Thistlecrack before the lack of a recent run seemed to catch him out when dropping away to finish fifth. Now over fences, this imposing grey can reach the top ranks and should have no issues in taking care of this modest opposition. The only real threat looks to be Drumlee Sunset but he doesn't appear the most scopey and has his quirks, while Archie Rice looks best of the remainder if able to translate his hurdle mark to fences.
AUX PTITS SOINS has the potential to go to the top over fences this season and should have a bit too much for his sole realistic rival Drumlee Sunset.

SWINCOMBE TOBY has been unfortunate to bump into the likes of Frodon, Gibralfaro and Adrien Du Pont in his career so far but connections have found him an excellent opportunity to get off the mark for some decent prize money. PASSMORE chased home a lovely type in the shape of Tearsofclewbay at Worcester last time out and with that first public hurdling exercise under her belt, she could continue her progress. Alan King's mare finished well clear of the third in that event and can get the better of Earth Lady, who is bred to appreciate further than this. Poisoned Berry drifted in the betting before racing here eight days ago and ran poorly so she might be worth closer attention when turning up in handicaps.
PASSMORE got back on track when runner-up on hurdling debut at Worcester recently, and with improvement on the cards she looks the way to go in an ordinary contest. Earth Lady and Poisoned Berry may well be the pair to give her most to think about.

ANCHOR MAN cost connections 55,000 pounds at the sales earlier this year and the son of Stowaway could be another fair recruit for champion trainer Paul Nicholls. The four-year-old finished second in an Irish point-to-point in March behind a rival who has since switched to David Pipe and ran respectably in two starts under Rules. He faces little in the way of opposition here but Farm The Rock will test that his jumping is up to scratch. Gonnabegood is related to a few winners and could prove next best.
ANCHOR MAN is an interesting recruit from points representing leading connections, and he looks worth siding with in an ordinary-looking novice hurdle. Farm The Rock has showed a bit under Rules to date and looks the chief threat, whilst newcomer Gonnabegood is also worth a market check.
