A very open affair this to close a good day's racing, although a tentative nod must still go to JAMES MADRIK (8) who put his Vincennes clinker to bed after his courageous Meslay victory. He is drawn wide but is shod similarly and looks a marginally better bet than the well-positioned JANUS D'EM (3) who returns to Enghien on a hat-trick. JOHN RIVER (12) is forced to start on the second line but he has been in cracking form lately and can again finish in the frame.
