OSTATNIA finished strongly over a sharper trip when last sighted, getting the better of three reopposing rivals in the process, and is fancied to go one better now encountering an extra furlong. Red Ivy looks a major danger, though, as she encountered trouble in-running in a Listed race at Naas and wasn't beaten far in a maiden at the Curragh on debut. The Clodovil filly can reap the rewards of a drop in class, likewise Sors, who was runner-up in Pattern company two starts back and appears to excel in testing conditions.

Watch out for: Red Ivy (14)

A tricky maiden and the vote goes to the Sors, who hasn't been seen since disappointing at listed level in June, but given he had shaped well previously looks worth chancing to bounce back on return to maiden company. Ostatnia and Red Ivy are feared most.

Dandyleekie may find it tough to concede weight to the selection, but he performed with plenty of credit when runner-up at this venue two starts back and perhaps it is best to put a line through his most recent offering. COCOON has been given a 1lb rise for dead-heating at Listowel but a new mark of 81 still appears to leave him room for manoeuvre so he is handed the vote. Havanna Belle and Manny Owens weren't separated by much at Bellewstown but it wouldn't be a huge shock to see the latter reverse those placings on 6lb better terms for a one-and-a-quarter length defeat. Perfect Fit wasn't far away at Gowran Park and is respected, likewise Just A Penny, who shaped as if this extra yardage would suit when finishing a close third at Tipperary.

Corker Hill is proving a little frustrating to follow but may well improve for the first-time eyeshield, while Havelock Ellis arrives buoyed by his C&D triumph and a 10lb rise is probably fair given the manner of that victory and his record on the all-weather. SUCCEED AND EXCEL gets the nod having finally broke his maiden in a handicap at Gowran Park five days ago. He lines up off a 6lb higher mark and that first career success should have given him the impetus to go on.

Teochrios is just 2lb higher than when finishing a close second at Gowran Park last time and must come into the reckoning for her shrewd trainer, while Eye Of The Tiger has been running well overseas the last twice and he cannot be discounted either. The vote goes to WAVER, though, as he arrives buoyed by his stylish win over hurdles at Listowel six days ago and is one from one at Dundalk having won over the extended 1m2f here in October last year.

A tricky middle distance handicap. OCEANIA QUEEN has been raised 8lb for scoring over 1m2f at Clonmel earlier in the month but now the penny has seemingly dropped, there could be further improvement to come from the Patrick Martin representative. Calle Aneto needs to bounce back from a disappointing Limerick run last time but makes appeal on his earlier victory at Sligo and is feared most. Broadway Musical is a potential improver on her handicap bow and also merits a market check.
