LIMETREE LADY made every yard of the running when opening her account in a Cork maiden latest and the handicapper appears to have been impressed in assigning her an opening rating of 99. David Wachman's filly looks firmly on the upgrade and could follow up with a low draw boosting her claims of being able to dominate. Hestian flopped in a sales race at York latest but had shown plenty of early dash on debut at Naas. With C&D winning form to his name, Muckle Bahoochie, last sighted in a Curragh Group 3, is another to consider.
An initial mark of 99 looks to underplay Limetree Lady's achievements by a fair margin, let alone her potential, and she will prove very hard to beat from a good draw. An Ghalanta looks very solid for a place, whilst it would come as no surprise to see Hestian bounce back.

MULTITASKING improved upon his debut fifth behind Hestian (engaged in the opener tonight) when third over 5f at Tipperary last time out. Michael Halford's colt shaped as if this longer trip would suit and he appears the most likely winner. Jpevie left behind his debut running when beaten by less than a length at Down Royal latest and is another expected to relish this extra furlong. Ger Lyons' Holy Roman Emperor colt, Rogue Element, looks the pick of the newcomers.
Jpevie could well be underrated in this given his somewhat unfashionable connections and holds strong claims of getting off the mark. Multitasking is respected, and Rogue Element makes most appeal of the newcomers.

Like many from her yard, WADING is expected to come on for her first run after a highly respectable second on debut at the Curragh earlier in the month. Aidan O'Brien's filly, who is closely related to the oustanding Sea The Stars, makes unlimited appeal on breeding, holds a number of entries in Irish Classics for next season, and should take all of the beating here if living up to expectations. Oh So Lucy showed promise over this trip at Leopardstown last time and can scrap it out with Aloof, third behind the last-named in the same contest, for the minor honours.
Some potentially useful fillies involved in this maiden. Wading stands out on pedigree and, even if not on the form achieved on her debut, then she surely has better claims of stepping up to a greater extent thanOh So Lucy or Aloof, both of whom shaped with promise themselves starting out. (HB)

Fellisha shaped so well when runner-up on her penultimate start that she is worth persevering with now that Sam James is booked. Painted Fingers and Jeangeorges looks the best each-way alternatives.

Fandango Boy has come down to what looks an attractive mark and if the ten-year-old can recapture his best form, making the frame in this handicap contest is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. C&D form also bodes well but a chance is taken on LIBERTY TO ROCK who has gone up just 4lb for his narrow track and trip success earlier this month. Grainne Whale is another with claims having ran well behind the selection when last sighted but with Sam James taking off a valuable 5lb in the saddle, the son of Statue Of Liberty will take all the beating.
Grainne Whale ran a cracker off a 2 lb lower mark over this course and distance last time and is sure to prove popular from the plum draw, but the one who makesthe most appeal is Ashton Rose, who has shaped much better than the bare result at the Curragh and Roscommon. Liberty Rock looks best of the rest.

LEAVES YOU BABY is thriving at present and having impressed at the Curragh in August, this further 4lb rise in the ratings doesn't look set to stop the Pivotal filly going in again. The step up in trip can ensure she remains one step ahead of the assessor but while Al Dafa looks the each-way value in the race, returning to the flat scene, both Scots Gaelic and top weight Avanti Albert should be considered.
Leaves You Baby is proving steadily progressive this term and can defy another small rise in the weights returned to this longer trip. The only other last-time-out winner assured of a run is Scots Gaelic, and he's respected, while Benefit of Porter holds solid place claims.

Mokama has threatened a big run this term and the daughter of Motivator is beginning to come to herself. The booking of Pat Smullen suggests big things but a chance is taken on the unexposed filly, SUMMER GLOW. John Murphy appears to be getting a real tune out of this daughter of Exceed And Excel and her most recent performances have indicated she is improving for each outing. Her only other effort on the all-weather was a disappointing one but with experience under her belt now, she is worth another chance. Reasons Unknown appeals most elsewhere.
Summer Glow has been knocking on the door in handicaps of late and this looks a realistic opportunity for her to open her account. Mokama and Reasons Unknown have the ability to go close if on their best behaviour.

Winning C&D form for the Aidan O'Brien pair, Regent Street and Amazing Beauty, bodes well but it could pay to side with TAKAPOUR. The Mark Halford inmate broke his maiden tag over track and trip in July and the colt shaped as though the penny was beginning to drop. The well-bred son of Shamardal is open to plenty of improvement but it would be dangerous to rule out the chances of Ideal, who can get serious on her best form and Honey Of A Kitten, who represents the Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen.
Aidan O'Brien looks to have this at his mercy. Regent Street arrives on the back of a fine effort in a handicap at Killarney and, under much more favourable terms, looks the one to beat. Amazing Beauty would be a major threat at her best, but this trip looks set to prove too sharp, and maybe it's best to count on Takapour progressing sufficiently to follow him home. (HB)
