An interesting opener where it might pay to side with last year's winner KIMBAY. She is 6lb higher in the handicap 12 months on but had a few of these rivals in arrears when third at the Curragh and is forgiven her latest effort in Listed company. Chiclet trailed the selection in seventh at HQ but races from a lower mark on the all-weather and might be dangerous to overlook. Well Done Me and Danz Gift both got off the mark recently and can get on the premises with their confidence presumably buoyed.

Watch out for: Chiclet (1)

CHICELT can boast a very solid course record, and with a recent turf run likely to have blown away the cobwebs, she has a lot to recommend her. Danz Gift was impressive over C&D last week, so is feared most, ahead of Sors.

Sarah Ash Calum took a big step in the right direction when tackling this surface for the first time last week and she is feared most on her nursery debut. AGENT OF CHAOS was only a neck behind subsequent Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner Hit It A Bomb on debut and he was then tried in a Group 3 at Leopardstown, where he wasn't disgraced at all despite finishing last of eight. Oromo wasn't too far behind the selection on debut and he is entitled to step up on that effort, while the Aga Khan-owned pair of Ebadan and Zoravan are other noteworthy candidates.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see the frustrating Mcguigan finally open his account here, but he doesn't look one for maximum faith, and perhaps STORM RANGER is more appealing at the forecast prices. The son of Bushranger took a big step forward on his second start at Leopardstown in July when finishing fourth and beating home two subsequent winners, and this looks an ideal opportunity for him to register his first success. The Andy Oliver-trained duo of Pick Your Battle and Bureau Ambition are respected, while any market support behind the returning Red Lion Rock might be worth noting.

MCGUIGAN has run to a fairly useful level in maidens and handicaps this year, and looks to have been found a good opportunity to belatedly get off the mark. Storm Ranger and Bureau Ambition look best of the remainder.

Gordon Elliott's charge was only beaten three-quarters of a length by Captain Midnight here last week but is now 7lb better off and has the services of the Irish champion jockey. A very competitive race in which UDOGO should benefit from a step up in distance. The son of Lucky Story progressed all summer and he was a winner over 1m3f back in August, while he remains on a winnable mark. Any support in the market for No Cash Flow would look significant on his handicap debut, especially as he is stepping up from 7f to 1m4f. Automated, First In The Queue and Glassatura are others to note.

JAN VAN EYCK caught the eye at Leopardstown last month, making a lot of ground up late in the day when not ideally placed, and he is one to be interested in from this mark. No Cash Flow is very interesting now making his handicap debut over a more suitable trip, and is feared most, ahead of Holy Water who returns to the Flat after some good runs over hurdles.
