MOON MAP has done enough in six career starts to suggest a maiden of this nature is within her grasp and the drop in grade can bring about her first win. Goodnight Angel and Miss Andorra can also make the frame.
INDIANA MOON is two wins from three starts for new trainer Dane Kobiskie and boasts rock solid claims bidding to complete his hat-trick. Ninety Five South and Warrensburg will be there to pounce if the selection falters.
APPEALING BEAUTY finished a close third in a more valuable course maiden last month and connections appear to have found her a real opening against these rivals. Mide As Well and Christmas Barn are also noted.
MINNIE PUNT is three wins from his last six starts and should be well suited to the step back up to the extended 1m for this assignment. He can regain the winning thread at the main expense of Hiram and Winding Road.
IT'S A PLANE accounted for Seeking Fame (third) and Royal L. S. (fourth) when finishing an encouraging second on his racecourse debut here last month and natural improvement makes him a big player. He can confirm the form and break his duck at the second time of asking.
CASSATT stepped up on her promising debut performance when scoring readily over 6f at Fair Grounds and, with further improvement on the cards, she rates the one to beat. Kelly's Endeavour and Ball And Chain are also expected to go well.
QUINBY PETE hasn't put a foot wrong in both starts so far this year (over track and trip) and will take some stopping in his bid to complete the hat-trick. Alaco Castle rates the biggest threat following his runaway victory at Churchill, ahead of Unzapped.
IN HIGH COTTON comfortably won a stronger 5 1/2f course event on his latest start in September and he is fancied to repeat the dose on his return. Brother Leo has been hammering on the door and should give another good account, while Bayou Boy cannot be ruled out either.
