BREAKEVEN might be able to take this on his first try over flights. A dual point-to-point winner for Denis Murphy, the son of Scorpion won a bumper on his debut for current connections at Tipperary in August. He was since beaten into third at Galway, but can be forgiven for that, with the front-running winner getting away on the field from early. Paul Townend is a positive jockey booking on fellow bumper winner Song Of Earth. Fourth on his hurdling debut at Listowel, the son of Mahler should come on plenty for that experience. Fest Deiz has some solid efforts to his name and has definite claims, while others of interest here are the Ellmarie Holden trained Knockmoylan and Kilbeggan runner-up Family Business.

An open-looking maiden hurdle with KNOCKMOYLAN receiving the vote. The John McConnell trained six-year-old has really got his act together since stepping up in trip and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to take this. GET RICH DIE PLYIN impressed on his first try over flights at Punchestown last month and he looks the one to beat. In what was probably a weak contest, the son of Beat Hollow came home fifteen lengths clear and looks open to further progress. Coolbane Boy should have won at Listowel last month and he is likely to appreciate this step-up in trip to three miles. A case can also be made for West Cork Wildway, Friary Rock and Jacksons Gold, with Lead Light To Dawn the only one that can be safely ruled out.

Soi Cowboy has joined Paul Flynn and the County Longford-trained contender, a point-to-point winner at the start of his career, needs to be monitored in the market. The Central Park gelding makes his handicap debut, and this string has been profitable to follow in recent times. Owner J P McManus and trainer Eric McNamara both have dual representation, but in truth WHATSYOURSTATUS is difficult to look beyond off this hurdling mark. The Kadeed gelding was market leader to exploit a favourable hurdles mark at the Harvest festival in Listowel, but he came up short when fourth behind Whereyounow. Conor Orr's five pound claim here is a boon to the chances of the County Cork trained contender, and he can get it done back at a venue where he's proven in the past. First time in a handicap hurdle, Elite Tropper Grey is entitled to be there or thereabouts, whilst there are few others with each-way claims as well.

Formerly with Mick Winters, Fintown Boy now starts off for the Lee's Cross, Ballingarry, County Limerick yard of Jennifer Lee. A ten-year-old at this stage, the Golan gelding needs to bounce back to his best. His couple of successes were achieved on a lively surface and his winning days may not have come to an end just yet. For a selection though, LIGHTSIDER is the suggestion. He wasn't up to landing a gamble in first-time blinkers at Clonmel on October 1st. Mark Walsh is taken to find the key to the youngster now, on his first time in the saddle.

FOXY JACKS got no further than the third on his chase debut at Limerick last Sunday. There was money about for the Dermot Desmond-owned and Mouse Morris-trained Fame And Glory gelding on that occasion, and hopefully he'll avoid any bad mistakes this time. His performances in the bumper and hurdles arena have shown the six-year-old to be a nice prospect for the months ahead. Coko Beach now tackles the larger obstacles for the first time, on his reappearance after a ninth placing in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham in March. He obviously has the ability to beat these rivals, and it should be revealing to see how he moves in the market. Daybreak Boy has a little squeak too.

Useful hurdler COKO BEACH ended last season with a creditable run in the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival and could prove hard to beat on this switch to chasing if his jumping passes the test. Daybreak Boy has been disappointing of late, so the biggest threat may come from Foxy Jacks, who remains with potential after unseating his rider early on last week's chase debut at Limerick.

A 35,000-pound purchase in July, Timoteo starts off for Gordon Elliott having won a couple for Alan King. Elliott also has Dakota Moirette in the mix, and that fellow's owners, Gigginstown House Stud, have Jan Maat in the field too. Trainer Henry de Bromhead has care of Jan Maat. The Waterford handler actually additionally sends out Ornua and Abbey Magic, whilst local operator Terence O'Brien fires more than one dart at the target as well, with Articulum and Lakemilan doing battle for him. Lakemilan took the honours 12 months back and she needs to be taken seriously. Cesarewitch also ran LEVER DU SOLEIL is expected to show up well on his handicap chase debut. He's got a light weight and a top conditional on his back.

ABBEY MAGIC made a very encouraging return from a long lay-off when second at Kilbeggan last month and is taken to build on that and go one better now. Timoteo hasn't stood much racing in Britain in recent times but he looked a promising chaser early in 2019 and it'll be interesting to see what Gordon Elliott can do with him. Last year's winner Lakemilan also makes the shortlist.
