Colfer Kay has every chance of snapping a string of runner-up finishes. She hasn't been beaten far in those three races on testing ground and looks sure to give this a proper go. Slight preference is for ELIZABETHAN, though. The pair clashed in Limerick and Elizabethan finished a head and a short head behind Colfer Kay in fourth. Drying ground would be to Elizabethan's advantage as a War Front filly. She was third on her last start over course and distance and the horse behind her in fourth came out and beat Colfer Kay in Navan. She is a full sister to Group-One winners Roly Poly and U S Navy Flag, so it reasonable to assume there is more to come from her. Camdeboo was due to make her debut in a winners' race at Killarney, so could be a factor.

WOOD RANGER's fourth in the valuable Ballyhane consolation race over course and distance reads well. The form of that contest is working out nicely as the winner has since scored in Listed company and Wood Ranger had several subsequent winners in behind him. Mikey Sheehy's 7lb claim could make a difference on Dreams Delivered. Darren Bunyan's charge won a nursery off 65 at Fairyhouse last month but has found life tougher off his higher mark since. He races off 63 here with Sheehy's claim factored in, so is entitled to be on the premises. Barretstown was only pipped by a nose in Down Royal by a horse that has subsequently gone in again. On his last start he came from a fair way back in the final furlong to finish fifth in the Curragh. He gets first-time cheekpieces and is certainly a player. Slan Tamall is a potential improver.

ETNEYA looks to have plenty of potential and gets the vote. She was a smooth winner of a fillies' maiden at the Curragh in July before taking fifth in a Group 3 the following month in Leopardstown. BARRINGTON COURT has been a bit of a revelation since switching to the level. After an easy success in a maiden at Bellewstown in August, she then ran a cracker in the Oyster Stakes at Galway, going down by just a length and three parts to Princess Zoe. She again filled the runner-up spot behind Dawn Patrol in the Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh and after those recent efforts she would be a deserving winner of this Listed contest. The hat-trick seeking Shamiyna is an interesting contender for Dermot Weld and Oisin Orr. She impressively dismissed the 96 rated Princess Yaiza at Killarney earlier this month and it'll be interesting to see how she copes with this step-up in class. The O'Brien family are responsible for eight of the fifteen declared for this near mile and a half contest, with Joseph and Aidan both saddling three. Elizabethofaragon, trained by the master of Ballydoyle, is the mount of Seamie Heffernan and she looks capable of making her presence felt.

Luck has deserted DANCE JUPITER in recent times, but he might be able to get the rub of the green now. A winner of a maiden at Cork in August of last year when trained by John Kiely, the son of Kingsbarns subsequently changed hands for a massive 275,000 pounds. A fast-finishing second on his debut for current connections at Galway in September, he then had no luck in running when third at the Curragh, before again meeting with trouble at Limerick last weekend. He is upped in trip now to a mile-and-two and with Dylan Browne McMonagle claiming five, he looks the one to beat. The aforementioned John Kiely is represented by handicap debutant Blackpoint and it'll be interesting to see how he fares with Luke McAteer aboard. The winning streak of Sheer Bravado came to an end at Limerick last weekend, but he still looks capable of making his presence felt. Others for the shortlist are recent winners Simply True, Memyselfandmoi and Ebony Maw.

A case can be made for plenty of these. The hat-trick seeking Na Caith Tobac is sure to have plenty of supporters after good wins at Tipperary and Navan respectively. Colin Keane is an interesting jockey booking on handicap debutant Miss Daingerfield, while Scholastic, who is a three-time winner on the level, is capable of making her presence felt with Mikey Sheehy claiming a valuable seven. For a selection I'll side with WATERVILLE LADY despite the fact she has failed to score in fourteen starts. She caught the eye when powering home to finish second at Cork on Tuesday and she might be able to go one place better now. Poster Child was no match for Dreal Deal on that same Cork card, but he did go five lengths clear of the third and should give a good account of himself here. Limerick runner-up Pikaia is another for the shortlist, while handicap debutant Awkwafina is an interesting contender in first-time cheekpieces.
