Verdict

CAV OKAY put in arguably the best juvenile performance seen so far this season when winning by 5 lengths on his debut and will be hard to catch from a plum draw today. Mubaashir beat a stablemate of the selection on his debut and will not let Richard Hannon's colt have it all his own way. Smirfy's Silver ran fourth in a Beverley maiden that has worked out well and should improve for that outing.

Verdict

The impeccably bred TIME ON was an impressive winner on her reappearance at Folkestone last month and is selected to step up once again and take this valuable prize. Wassfa needs to improve on two placed efforts in her first season, but her trainer would not be sending her here without a chance. Cortesia had the newcomer Shout back in fourth spot when successful at Newbury last month, but the latter looks the one with the most potential.

Verdict

GREENWICH MEANTIME has come back better than ever for new connections and won his fourth successive race at Ripon last month. He only picks up a 3lb penalty for today's prestigious event and it would be no surprise to see him land the biggest prize of his career so far. Elusive Dream slightly disappointed in three runs last term, but still has the look of a progressive induividual and comes into this on a decent looking mark. Irish raider Contact Dancer is fit from hurdling and with Kieren Fallon on top it would be folly to leave him out of calculations today.

Verdict

DIVINE GIFT ran well to finish third to the well handicapped All That And More at Epsom last month, with top weight Ofaraby a never nearer seventh. The latter looks sure to come on for that run, but Kevin Ryan's charge is taken to get the better of his old stablemate once again. Focus Group will come on for his run at Pontefract last month, whilst Nice Tune was not disgraced in a Listed event over a mile at Kempton last time.

Verdict

DYNACAM appreciated a step up in trip and switch to turf when hacking up at Yarmouth on her third and final start last term and will appreciate the even stiffer test of stamina this afternoon. The highly regarded Remember Ramon maintained his 100 per cent record for the season with a game win at Windsor last week and will not go down without a fight. Galient won his maiden easily at Newmarket on his return and should not be underestimated.
