COMPLETE UNKNOWN produced a promising performance on his hurdling debut here last time and he may well have got a lot closer if he was not hampered towards the finish. With improvement a strong possibility, he looks the one to beat, while Last Royal is an interesting contender as he has not been seen since his first start over hurdles when second at Uttoxeter over a year ago. DEERE MARK may well have bumped into a smart performer when runner-up over C&D in October having been the only rival in the field to pose any sort of threat.
