BEST PROFILE's win between the flags in April should have set him up nicely for his debut under rules here. He hails from a stable in form and looks the answer to this tricky contest. Stoop To Conquer's two runs over timber have been disappointing but he was a useful sort on the Flat and is worth another chance while French import Nine De Sivola has shown signs of ability and could go well on his UK debut.
Money Line will be fancied on his hurdling debut because of his connections but his bumper form is nothing special. Point-to-point winner No Guarantees was well beaten on his hurdling debut but should do better today while Hexham winner Bannister Lane can be given a chance if ignoring his latest poor effort. It's worth taking a chance, however, on French import CLEMAX, a chase winner at Auteuil on his last start and from a stable with a good record at this track.
Kitski has done well over hurdles and can be given a chance on his chasing bow. Boobee was an easy winner last time in a beginners' chase despite mistakes. A clear round should put him right in the firing line but he's likely to find one too good in MODEL SON, whose form since moving from Ireland has improved enormously. Despite a mistake three out, he was an easy winner of a beginners' chase at Wetherby and a repeat effort would see him home today.
Bob The Piler ran well last time over fences but, despite dropping in the handicap, looks to have too much weight on his hurdles form. Pebble Bay scored a hat-trick over timber earlier in the year and scored over fences last time but also has plenty of weight. LOFTY LEADER is raised a massive 12lb for his success over C&D this month but he won easing up that day and a repeat effort would be good enough now.
ROSS COMM is not always reliable but you can't argue with his record of four wins over fences from his last six starts. He's up 9lb for his 3m win here this month but scored with ease that day and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the extra weight today. Ebony Light, up 8lb for a cosy win at Bangor, looks the main danger while Mini Sensation, up 5lb for a battling win at Exeter, can't be ruled out.
Jballingall (due to run on Saturday) is up 5lb for his win here over 2m4f but can be given a chance while Assumetheposition was going well when brought down five out on his chasing debut and should be thereabouts. PARISIENNE GALE is not the safest of jumpers and is up 12lb on her winning Cartmel mark but scored with plenty in hand that day and a repeat performance could be good enough.
Minster Abbi ran poorly last time but can be given a chance on her best form, while double chase winner Waynesworld can be included in calculations back over timber. STONERAVINMAD is up 5lb for his Wetherby win over this trip but he stumbled on the bend or would have won much more easily. He is well capable of going in again.
