Stratham, a winner last time at Salisbury when with Eoghan O'Neill, makes his US debut but has plenty on his plate here. Sensational Score won on his debut but have more on their plate here and preference is for GIMME S'MOR, who scored over 1m in a $50k claimer last time. He has never raced on grass but if he handles the surface, should have too much experience here.
Hurricane Route and Free Rocket have won much better races but haven't raced for a year and seven months respectively. You Crack Me Up is the fastest of these on dirt and was third in similar last time. He should be thereabouts but is likely to find one too good in FALLFREE, the quickest over this trip, and a cosy winner in a similar contest last month.
GREENHILL HAIL was a close second on turf last time but the return to the dirt should hold no fears. She's the fastest of these on the surface and was an easy winner over this trip back in August. She looks too good for her rivals here. Alissa's Atm, a winner over a mile here but stepping up in class, looks the best of the rest.
After a couple of modest efforts on the dirt in tougher races, KISSIN KNIGHT showed he preferred the turf when running a good second over C&D in a similar race this month. That form should be easily good enough here. Newcomer Gary's Got Rhythm, who has reportedly been going well at home, and Atozoe, who has raced on turf, look the best of the rest.
Lionizer won last time out and drops in class today. He should be thereabouts but might find one too good in MIGHTY WILL. He was well back in a much tougher race last time but this trip will be more to his liking and today's drop in class should give him the ideal opportunity to get back to winning ways. Gone Quiet and Cepheus Star could run well.
Precis is a speedy sort who should be thereabouts but this should mainly concern Preachintothechoir and PARADISE COVE. Both were second in similar last time, with the former failing by just a neck to get home. But the selection was having only his second start and is entitled to improve for the run. He should be good enough now to take this.
LEGAL LOGIC was successful when dropped down in grade last time, and with his barn in such good form, he could well follow-up in this company. Sea Of Silver and Mighty Mysterious could give him the most to think about.
WILD BUDDY has given good accounts in Grade 2 events on his last two starts, including going within half a length of victory over 1m at Del Mar last month. He is the fastest among these on turf and is taken to make the most of the drop in class. Stage Shy is unbeaten on her two starts over this C&D and ran out a comfortable winner of a decent event at Del Mar latest. She looks the biggest threat but Country Jazz can't be ruled out on his return to grass after winning on dirt latest.
Por Gusto and Herbie Love are entitled to improve on promising debut shows, while the application of blinkers could sharpen up Mesa Magic. However, TOO MUCH GEORGE has shown enough in three starts to date to suggest a first success won't be too long in coming and he could be the answer this time.
