Golden Stream has yet to encounter this trip in eight career starts but looked as if she would appreciate sprint trips when scoring in listed company here last time. However, this is a tough ask against any number of battle-hardened sprinters and AWINNERSGAME is preferred. The gelding landed a valuable sales contest at Doncaster last term on the soft and scored very cosily last time to confirm his wellbeing. Ayr Gold Cup winner, Jimmy Styles, and Diadem Stakes runner-up, Tamagin, are also respected, whilst Knot In Wood will go close if more rain falls on Berkshire.
Willie Haggas landed this contest last year and has a strong contender again in Triple Aspect, while Tamagin looks sure to run his race and take high rank. However, Mullein ran a blinder from well off the pace in the Diadem and may well come out on top this time.

Record Breaker was impressive when heavily supported to score here over C&D last time but a 6lb rise for that success and the softened ground may combine to preclude a follow-up success. Unleashed, third that day, is 7lb better off for about four lengths and should get closer without reversing placings. The choice is CLASS IS CLASS, who still looks on a very workable mark, should appreciate the return to 12f and was noted staying on well last time when fourth in a competitive Newbury handicap. Azizi is hard to assess as all his form has been in maiden and handicap company but he looked a class above a normal nursery winner when clearing away to score in emphatic fashion at Doncaster last time. He has to make the shortlist but FROZEN POWER is narrowly preferred. The Godolphin colt rattled up a three-timer before finishing well behind Joshua Tree in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes here last time. He was hampered late on and performed better than his finishing position suggests and is afforded another chance here. Dubawi Phantom and Simenon also merit respect.
Azizi has his quirks but there is little doubting his talent, his latest win achieved in a very good time. He can prove too strong for Frozen Power, with Simenon likely to fare best of the trio who ran in the Solario Stakes.

Endless chances in an open contest but MUTAMAASHI looks as if he may have more improvement to offer after just seven career outings.
